Industry Public House

We popped into IPH on a Friday night and were seated right away. We opted to split the mozzarella cogs, and they were definitely a great choice. They were warm and crispy, and the marinara sauce was nice and zesty. My dinner guest opted for the fish and chips, and she was very happy with the portion size for the price. The fish breading was great and flaky, and the fish itself was juicy. I opted for the smoke stack sandwich, and it did not disappoint. The shaved ribeye was cooked to perfection, and the house aioli was a delicious pairing. Both of our meals came with fries, which were fresh and clearly hand-cut. Industry is a great spot for a casual bite, so give it a try if you're in the area!

so I wanna start out by saying our server was absolutely amazing. She was extremely nice down to earth and just really friendly. they just really did not have a lot of gluten-free options I asked, and the only thing that they really had was a gluten-free bun. None of the appetizers were gluten-free and of course the fries were in a shared fryer, which is fine of course if you just have a gluten intolerance. So a little disappointed by the selection.The only thing I was a little bit disappointed was that we asked for a whiskey and a pickle back shot . Typically it's my understanding that this is done with a dill pickle juice. However they gave us sweet pickle juice, which was one of the hottest most peculiar taste. I had after whiskey. Regardless, the service was good. The location was great. I just wish they really had more gluten-free options.

My BFF and I stopped in here for a late lunch after visiting Randyland/before heading back to Indianapolis for our long weekend away in Pittsburgh. We had already decided on this spot for lunch earlier in the day while having coffee because they came up as one of the best spots in Pittsburgh for macaroni and cheese. Omg.... the macaroni and cheese here insane. Insane portion size, insane flavor, insanely low price point considering we felt like we each had a full box of cavatappi noodles and 8 lbs of cheese in our bowls. I opted to add medium rare steak on top of mine and it was so juicy and melted in my mouth. Definitely the right move for being slightly hungover. They also have 2 hot sauce options, a chipotle and a classic hot sauce, which really kicked the meal up a notch.We sat at the bar and the bartender was really nice. The bar was well-stock and she made us mimosas with no fuss. She was always nearby to ask for more water and for the check when we were ready to cash out. We loved all of the fixtures/Edison bulb lighting (it was well-lit without feeling like you're under a spotlight) and the inside was very spacious. Lots of TVs around the bar, so this would be a great spot to come watch sports while having a delicious meal (not just greasy bar food) and a beverage.

Personally, I wasn't blown away by anything, but the rest of my party enjoyed their meal. Classic bar atmosphere, clean and quite spacious. Service was good, and the prices were average I guess. My salad was pretty boring, but the chicken was good. I tried the tacos which were tasty--but mainly just for the corn tortillas. The highlight was the sliding high-top tables. Not my fave, but keeping it objective.

Came here for a dinner with friends and the food was pretty good! The pretzel was so soft and the beer cheese was great to dip into. The drinks were great too, and came fairly quickly. The seitan wings were pretty good, but the hot buffalo sauce was slightly too salty for me. The waitress for our table was super nice and helpful! Overall great experience at Industry!

This will always be my favorite go-to spot. I highly recommend the pretzel and everything else. I've been here 3+ times and they never disappoint. It's a must try place if you're in the neighborhood. The staff are attentive and great. They have multiple seating areas including outside dining. There's always cocktail specials and happy hour is a good time to go. Overall the food is amazing and so is the service.

Came here on a recent Pittsburgh weekend trip and had brunch with local friends. Service took a very long time, but the food was above average.I had the pot roast meal, which was a heaping bowl of creamy mashed potatoes covered with gravy ladened fall-apart pot roast, carrots and onions. It was a very food coma inducing dish...just what the doctor ordered!

This restaurant turned out to be a pleasant surprise. They have a very good draft beer selection. We both got hamburgers. These had very high-quality tasty meat. Prepared just right. We asked for the french fries extra crispy. They delivered. I like the ambience here. The only thing I would point out to ownership is on the padded seats in the booths, it is essentially a piece of wood with a worn out thin piece of foam underneath. I suggest to get better padding. Other than that, I would give this place a visit every chance I get.

Walked in with a reservation and was told that the only table my friend and I could be seated at was by the door. We obviously had concerns of being cold and voiced them. We asked multiple times why we couldn't be seated at tables that were visibly available. The tables were able to be moved a part to make a 4 seated table a 2 seated table. After appearing obviously agitated, the staff moved apart two tables so we could be seated. The energy and tone were set at that point. We sat down, tried to shake off the bad energy and service but couldn't as we watched them easily seat others around us with enthusiasm. The menu wasn't appealing anyways so we ended up leaving because we felt unwelcomed at that point. Bad service? Racial discrimination? Who knows honestly but I will never be back! That's for sure.

Brought some friends from out of town and it did not disappoint! Chris was a star -- so attentive, kind, and funny. Their fries are unbeatable and the way they layer the nachos is something I salute.
