All the food we tried was wonderful. We shared an order of mussels and a Caesar salad. Both were delicious! My dad had a draft beer, which he said was great. Dad had the eggplant Parmesan and I had the muffuletta. Portions were huge. We both could only eat half of what we ordered. I also ordered a lemon cake to go. It was delicious. We were a party of 8 and they didn't charge a fee for separate checks. The waitress was very friendly and helpful in explaining the many items on the menu. The ambience is comfortable and not cultured. They have a huge pizza oven on display in the kitchen. Those in our party who ordered pizza said it was great.

Love Love Love this place.Great food. Fresh and Hot.Wide variety of foods.Check out the menu.Nice welcoming atmosphere.Family Friendly. But also, a great place to bring a date. Not too noisy.Kind of tricky to get in and out of parking lot but it's okay just follow directions. I look forward to eating here again and again.Prices are fair. What you would expect to pay for this kind of dining. Not too Pricey. Service was great as well.

I said it before and I will keep on saying it. I'll Pizzaiolo is one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever eaten at. Come in and sit at the bar, enjoy a glass of wine and order one of their fresh pasta dishes. Sit back and enjoy... That is all you need to know! The food is phenomenal, the service is friendly and quick. I will be back again!

My friends and I had a girl's night and tried Il Pizzaiolo. I hadn't been for years and they had never been. We really enjoyed it. We started out with the autumn mule which was really good. It's a bit pricey at $16 each. We only had one. My other friend had a beer. My friend enjoyed her ravioli with Marinara and ate the whole thing. My other friend enjoyed her pasta too but I can't remember what it was. I really enjoyed the tagliatelle with Alfredo and prosciutto. I wanted the raghu with red sauce but there was a misunderstanding. The prosciutto was delicious and the pasta and sauce was amazing. The waiter was very nice and patient. It took my friends time to review the menu and decide. He answered questions and gave recommendations. We appreciated it.

We enjoyed going to Il Pizzaiolo with a large group. The servers were great. We also liked their large comfy chairs. The pizza was a bit underwhelming and food was served a little slow. The pasta was great!! We all loved our pasta dishes and liked that they accommodated for removing meat on a Lenten Friday. The Pappardelle was by far the star dish of the night.

I would definitely recommend making a reservation for dinner, even during the week. It was so busy for a Thursday night, every table was filled! We were seated outside on the patio which was really nice. We had a great server too! The food came out in a reasonable time & our drinks were never empty. They give you bread with dipping oil and it was amazing! We started with the meatballs as an appetizer because I saw on Yelp that they were a must have. They definitely were, some of the best meatballs I've had in a long time! I had the Penne Rosa for dinner and it was pretty good. My friends really enjoyed their pasta dishes too. I had the chocolate gelato for dessert and oh my gosh, it was incredible! I'm still thinking about it. The only reason I'm taking a star off is because of the ambiance. It's a super nice restaurant, a little more upscale and no offense to the high schoolers working (food runners, server assistants) but their attitude/service doesn't really match the ambiance the restaurant is trying to go for. I feel bad saying that though :(Overall, would definitely return! I prefer this location compared to the Market Square location.

We ended up here when our "go to" was closed for the week between Christmas and NYE. We sat on heated patio. In the middle of the room it was warm. Dining rm itself was very nice. Drinks, imo, were too pricey. Wine bottles were $60+. A martini was $16. The food was very, very good. The alcohol prices, however, would make me think twice. Alcohol brings a high profit margin.. this place is too high on alcohol. Drop the prices a few bucks on drinks and offer a few $40 bottles of wine.. that would still be pricey but would elevate them to 5 stars. Server was nice. Saw a lot of food mistakes from other diners. Overall, I'll go back, but with hubby alone... and after hitting my local pub for a wine or two before our seating time. Reservations are a must, and we will think ahead next time.

4.5 stars overall. Ill Pizzaiolo is an Italian restaurant that serves lunches and dinners seven days a week. Their food menus list appetizers such as arancini, calamari, charcuterie, and mussels; entrees such as salads, pizzas, pastas, chicken parmigiano, and lamb chops; and desserts such as cannoli, gelato, and ricotta cheesecake. Their beverage menu lists many sodas, wines, cocktails, and beers. To give you an idea of prices, many appetizers cost about $15, and many entrees cost about $21-36. Through the Resy website, I made a reservation for dinner for my husband and me for Valentine's Day. Initially, my husband questioned why I had selected a "pizza place" for such an important day, but once we arrived at the restaurant, then he said that the restaurant looked "nice." The restaurant was neither super-fancy nor super-casual.Our table was ready for us on time at 6:30 PM. Our server Sean (spelling?) provided very courteous and timely service throughout the evening. He explained that most of the restaurant's noodles are made in-house and that the pizzas are VPN-certified, which means that the restaurant follows the regulations of Neapolitan pizza-making (i.e., ingredients and oven). Here are our reviews for the foods:Bread - Free - 5 stars - This bread came in two flavors and was accompanied by a dipping oil. The breads were fresh, and we liked the flavor of the olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Panna pizza - $24 - 5 stars - This pizza consisted of a thin crust that was topped with cream, mozzarella, parmigiano, prosciutto, mushrooms, and olive oil. It was probably the fanciest pizza that I have ever eaten. We particularly enjoyed the large, fresh mushrooms.Chicken marsala - $29 - 5 stars - This entree contained two large juicy pieces of chicken that were covered in fontina, marsala sauce, and many large wild mushrooms.Veal parmigiano - $36 - 4 stars - My husband ate this entree, and I tried one bite. Three pieces of veal were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. On the side was spaghetti with a tasty sauce. As we were leaving the restaurant, the employees told us "thank you," "Happy Valentine's day," and "good night." My overall rating is 4.5 stars, which averages my rating of 5 stars and my husband's rating of 4 stars. My husband lived in Italy for part of his childhood, and he probably ate cheap Italian food there, because he prefers cheap Italian food! The serving sizes were large, so we had leftovers for later, and my husband said that he liked the reheated food better (?!).
