II Tomato

We were visiting family who live in the area and ordered II Tomato. The online menu was a tad difficult to navigate - why the random beer list between food items?Out of total frustration, I settled on the margarita pizza and I was so thankful that I did! It was absolutely delicious. It was wood fired so there were some charred spots, but this is the first margarita pizza I've gotten locally that has proper cheese ratios. Most places are incredibly stingy with the cheese, this was perfect. I also loved that it wasn't greasy in any way shape or form. The pizza sauce was full of flavor and absolutely delicious. The kids all got spaghetti and meatballs and I have to admit, I was eyeing it up the entire time because it just looked so good. My dad got the meatball and spaghetti stuffed calzone (mostly because I wanted to see this thing in person) and he said it was awesome. The rest of the party got various chicken dishes and everyone was beyond satisfied with their meal. We got fried zucchini and cheese balls as an appetizer too which were equally impressive. The star of all of the dishes was definitely the marinara. It was fresh, light and full of flavor which was perfectly balanced. I look forward to getting this again next time we visit!

We had dinner last night with friends after a loval school promenade. The service was excellent for such a large group. The ambiance was relaxing, comfortable and we did not feel rushed on a Friday night. We had the zucchini frites and greens and beans for an appetizer and both were absolutely delicious. My wife had the special of the chicken Parmesan and garlic fettuccine. She said over and over that she wished this was a regular menu item. I had the cod piccata, which was very tasty with a good size portion that I was very pleased with.

Now known as "Four" lovey atmosphere, delicious food and nice staff definitely one of the best Italian restaurants in town . Lots of different food and drinks , there is a bar . Stop by if you want delicious Italian

I have only enjoyed II Tomatoes via take out but we have always enjoyed the food (especially when we have people over and I don't have to slave over the stove. Their Chicken Caprese, Chicken Marsala, Lasagna and their pasta dishes are delicious. Once they forgot an item for my order. Since I didn't want to go back, they advised they would note it in some magical book and when I ordered next time they would credit me for it (or give me my choice of item). When we ordered next, despite it being awhile, they honored it. I was shocked. Very nice employees.

The food was nasty, the rigatoni with meatballs was served ice cold, the pasta was ice cold, the sauce and meatballs were flavorless, some of the worst food I ever had. The service was also appalling, waitress was inattentive and rude. Will not be back.

This used to be our family's go to restaurant for both dine in and take out. The restaurant is beautiful with great seating both indoors and outdoors. Sadly, I feel like it's done downhill since it's turn to "Four." Prices have gone up slightly and the portions are just getting smaller. My husband and I ordered a pizza to share it was the size of a personal pan pizza. They do have some good dishes, however, it's just not worth the price.

Woman who answered the phone was HORRIBLY rude. Embarrassed me in front of my family while ordering takeout. I will say something in person and ask for a manager. Ridiculous

Had 730 reservations last night and never got sat. After arriving on time and waiting 30 minutes, we left. Other guest were leaving after waiting 90 minutes and never got their food. The hostesses were disorganized and telling customers that the staff was tired and didnt have enough people working. Why were you sitting walk ins on valentines day when you can't even support the reservations you allowed? Maybe the food is ok but I can't even get to that point to review it.

Walked out, service was so slow and they were not even busy. To bad because it's a nice place, but other people I talked to complained about service also

I Love this place as a special night out or just a date night! Never have I had a bad meal there and just recently tried there pizza....which was the best I have tasted in New Castle. There service is friendly and very attentive to you needs or wants. Great job!
