Ice Cream Therapy

We learned about ice cream therapy from a friend when they opened for the season this year. We have already been three times...so it's good. It certainly doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's worth going. Service is kind of slow, but also the woman who has been there each of the three times we have been is incredibly friendly and kind. We are soft serve twist fans, so we have gotten that every time we've been. Haven't branched out for anything else. We saw pictures of the large so we had to give it a try. It's enormous haha! We (two adults, two toddlers) shared it along with a kiddie size and we probably could have gone without the kiddie. The ice cream is thick and creamy and just how soft serve should be. Occasionally you get kind of a light and airy soft serve at places like this, which is not my favorite. Ice cream therapy does it right.

Nice little spot on Merchant Street to get a little ice cream. Their are a couple tables and benches to sit at, but it seems most of the clientele prefer to get it to go or eat in their cars. Not much of an ambiance since it is really just a walk-up and order situation. We've been here twice in the last month and find the ice cream to be generous and creamy (thankfully not icy like some other soft serve places we've tried before). Building and area seem a little tired and in need of some fresh paint and/or maintenance, and at times the staff seem to get carried away in conversations though the line is long, but on the whole, people are friendly, the options are great, and the price is reasonable!

OMG. This is a "Medium"?! - The previous photos don't lie! I stopped by here on the way to visit my son. At the window, I saw there were 4 sizes of cones: Kiddie, Small, Medium and Large. - I had just come from a large dinner, so thought to myself, "I'll order a medium."I was flabbergasted (see photo) when they handed me an ice cream cone that was at least 12" high!!! Wow. - So, how big is a Large? I don't know, but they wouldn't let me order one, saying "Don't do it!"Sounds like a challenge to me!Anyway, good ice cream. And they also have a ton of options for sundaes, floats, shakes and so on. - Easy to miss, because they don't have very good signage. But, just look for the full parking lot and long line in front of the window.

I took some friends for a late night ice cream and was so impressed by this business. The owner had impeccable customer service, and then he started handing out the ice cream!!!The portions were huge, and the ice cream was good. I was real impressed and look forward to taking a crew back for more!

It's not much to look at, but wow, what a huge ice cream cone. Nice and creamy, too. My wife and I got the large cones and had a race to see who would finish first. She won. It was fun feeling like a kid again.

Don't let this unassuming storefront without a sign fool you, they know how to do soft serve. On a summer day, the line tells you this is the place for soft serve, milkshakes, and slushies. I love that the prices are still low and you can get two kids cones with toppings and dip for under $5.

The best soft serve ice cream you'll ever eat and served by the sweetest people. My favorites are a twist cone with rainbow sprinkles or a chocolate mix-in with cookie dough and peanut butter.

If every business owner took notes from this place, on how to customer service , they'd have a lot more business. The place was busy, but not 10 deep at the window. I was in line for about 15 min. I ordered, a milk shake and a cone. When I went to pay, the guy refused to take my money. His reply was, you stood in line for 15-20 min and said you can pay next time. I thanked him. Over n Over

THE BEST soft serve bang for your buck!!! The portions are ginormous!!! Everything is delicious and the staff is always friendly. Everyone is treated like family!!!

Chocolate Twinkle Coat is next level delicious. And the owner is so kind!! Also huge servings for the price.
