Loved it. It was delivered quickly. Prices aren't too bad. But the food was exactly what I was craving for. I'm originally from Philadelphia, I moved here a little while back and I've been so disappointed in the many different Chinese restaurants I've tried. Most fall VERY bland and are overpriced. But this place gave me a taste of what I've been searching for. Also a bonus. My entire life, if I've gotten fried dumplings, I request them to be "fried hard". This was the ONLY place that achieved that for me. I ordered fried dumplings and steamed white rice, general tsos with fried rice and an egg roll (lunch special). Everything came out to just under $25. It was great. Hopefully it's like this every time because this was my first experience. I definitely plan on reordering.

I have never been disappointed in my meal from Hunan's Palace! The delivery is quick and I don't have to worry about my food being cold when it arrives. I like that they have vegetarian options for some of my family members who don't eat meat. I will definitely be ordering from here again.

Serviceable takeout Chinese. I guess it used to be a sit-down restaurant pre-Covid, but it's only takeout and delivery now. The food is good and hits the spot. It's not anything special, but it's inexpensive and they deliver. I'm definitely a fan.

Great neighborhood Chinese take out place I can always count on to be good. I always crave wonton soup when I'm not feeling well and theirs is great! I've yet to get something from Hunan's Palace I haven't liked. Their take out is always quick and the food is always still hot by the time I get home.

Our favorite local Chinese restaurant. Quality food prepared well, and never a miss on the order.Although we like to eat at the restaurant, often we order take out and delivery... Both of which has been a good experience.I think we'll do it again tonight.

So normally I order from here and we are never disappointed. Last night we got beef & broccoli & I get that dinner prices are higher, but for starters, you could have laid off the broccoli and added some additional beef. That howevee isn't my issue and why I'm giving a 1-star.My son ordered chicken chow main and towards the bottom of the order we ran into a staple in his meal. A used staple. Not acceptable. Not sure how this happened. Can't begin to fathom how either. Again, the food we get from here is always hot, fresh and worth the money. Last night...not so much.

Hunan's Palace offers a great lunch buffet at certain hours during weekdays for business and homebody's in the area. It's a great price and the buffet is very good, wish there were more of a food section offered, but what is there is really good. There is never a crowd and for the most part your able to pick where you would like to sit. Hunan's Palace is located at the end of a strip mall in Forest Hills, with plenty of free parking. They offer take out and will deliver just to the surrounding area. They offer coupon discounts when your able to find them. The restaurant is reasonable priced for American Chinese food. It is convenient being only two Chinese restaurants in the area. We have been going for years now and it has kind of lost its charm for me. I do like the buffet when I am home during the week day and able to go. We do not order out as often as we used to. The owners have always been friendly, not as talkative as they used to be, but very polite. I see mostly the husband these days, the wife is mostly in the kitchen now if at all. If you can over look the outdated decor, it is not a bad place for dinner or lunch. I would recommend take out, it's quick and packaged very well. The chicken dishes are well prepared, I like the freshness of the vegetables and the good hot sauces that they make. I also have been ordering from the healthier menu with the white sauce and more vegetables, and less of the meats or poultry. The fried rice's have all been consistently good. I love the spring rolls, but I am not fond of the egg rolls. The Won Ton Soup is too salty for me and I like the pork shredded on top of the soup and not in the wrapper. As for a comment made by someone about an extra gratuity added to the bill, I can't speck to that, I have never had that happen to me. I am sure if you speck to the owner he will explain.

So normally I order here probably about 2 times a month. But today I order about $75 worth of food so when I made everyone there plates my nephew was eating his food & there was hair all threw he's rice so I had called them & told them they told me to bring all the food back so I did & I left the one plate with the hair in the rice on the plate when I got there they guy told me I put that hair in the food because that wasn't he's hair & told me I wasn't getting my money back & the lady told me she was calling the cops so I told them that's fine cops came they couldn't do anything so not only I had hair in my food they also didn't give me my money back.

What happened? This used to be the best spot in the area to get Chinese food! I would travel for miles to pick up an order. Sorry but you have just lost a long-time customer. Winnie and Tony had the best but I guess with new ownership comes new menus.Good luck!
