Hunan Wok is my local Chinese restaurant that my family and I have been going to for as many years as I can remember. Today, I ordered the General Tso's Chicken lunch special. I called on the phone to place the order, and it was ready in about 10-15 minutes. My total came out to be around $10 I believe. I was able to eat it for lunch and dinner, even though most people would probably eat most of it for just lunch considering it is a lunch portion. The egg roll was good. It was warm and had lots of filling inside. The young employee who took my order and checked me out was very sweet and helpful. Service is fast and food is average. I will always order from here because they are close and I have never had an issue.

Shredded Chicken and General Tsos... very bland!!!! Menu is very basic. The prices are a little above average and certainly not worth it. Tasteless.Very disappointed.. never again One staris being nice.

Ordered the General Tso it was so heavy breaded and absolutely no flavor or heat. Pork rice was okay but the egg roll was double rolled and tasteless. Really unhappy so need a good McKees Rocks Asian restaurant. Plus they do not deliver.

Hunan Wok is a strip mall Chinese joint in Kennedy Township. When walking in, you are overwhelmed by the smell of cleaning products, how dimly lit it is and a lot of the signage and calendars are dusty/dirty(-1 overall appearance) , just not real appealing. It was around 2:30 and empty. I ordered L24 General Tso's, yea I know, real adventurous, but I do ask for it Hot every time. I was told 15 minutes, it took 20 and they were dead slow(-1). The General Tso's was about as flavorless as you could get and o, so dry(-1). The Pork Fried Rice was actually Pork Burnt Rice, nasty(-1). I also ordered Boneless Ribs, which were pretty good. Not a lot of fat on them.Ended up paying $13 for a lunch special that didn't come with a drink(-1).Overall, odds of going back are a lot slimmer than me.

It was the absolute worst sweet & sour shrimp I've ever had. There wasn't any vegetables, no pineapple & the shrimp was so small with too much breading on it.

We have ordered there a few times. Never had anything bad like reviews say. No they don't deliver but worth the drive. Best Lo Mein i have found.

Hunan Wok is the best Chinese food in all of Pittsburgh. They have great prices and big portions. Most importantly, the food is delicious and always hot and crispy!
