The inside is a little dingy and I would not recommend dining inside. But for "to go" it's solid. Not the most inspiring or original Chinese food, but just what you'd expect and ample servings. Why not take that to go order to the brew pub across the parking lot (Acrospire) which is excellent and welcomes you bringing in food?

I'm only giving it 4 stars because I didn't have an entree, so i can't attest to the meat. I ordered take out hot & sour soup, spring rolls, and pork fried rice on a Sunday evening. The staff was friendly and it took about 20 minutes for my order. The soup was great, the fried rice was a large portion. The egg rolls were decent but the contents tasted frozen before they were fried. Over all, it was pretty good & I'd return.

We ordered take out here last Friday night.I had the beef with broccoli which was inexplicably slimy, and the meat was gray but the broccoli was the best I've ever had. My friend had the sesame chicken, and that was very good.I also ordered hot and sour soup and I think because it was the end of the night they gave me all the hot and sour soup on hand because it was in a full quart container. It was good, I've never had hot and sour soup that tasted as theirs did. I'm not sure what was going on, but all the elements were there. There was tofu, mushrooms, and it was spicy. I think I liked it? I'm not sure!The deliver was quick and it was relatively inexpensive. Overall, I'd say it was just ok. I'd order from them again, but would avoid ordering the beef with broccoli.

Excellent food for take out! We always get the chicken with veggies and sauce on the side and the general tsos. It is excellent! Fast service and they always answer the phone. I would not recommend eating at this place. Best for take out!

FYI -- the General Tso's Tofu is NOT breaded like you might expect it to be. Not at all impressed with other items.

New to the area, was looking for a Chinese restaurant conveniently located to my new home. DO NOT GO HERE. I have been eating Beef with Broccolli exclusively at Hunan/Chinese and Mongolian restaurants. While some variation occurs from differing cuisines and from place to place, Hunan King's was inedible. The beef does not look like beef in color, texture or taste. The brown sauce is "sticky", almost gelatinous, which I've never experienced as it should be more like a brown gravy. The taste is disgusting. I ordered two beef with broccoli entrees and the price was $29. If the food was good, the large portions would help offset the steeper price, as this is not a higher end restaurant. As my experience was less than good, the price was just absurd. Throwing $30 in the garbage now.

Not good. I think the spring rolls are purchased and heated up. Mongolian Beef was sub-par. Poor quality beef, sauce was "OK". Will say the Lo Mein s fairly good, only reason for 2 stars.

I normally don't give reviews, but felt that this one was necessary, Today I wanted Chinese for diner and decided to ordered takeout because of the Covid 19 lockdown of our governor. After looking at the restaurants close to me, I decided to try Hunan King Chinese Restaurant in Glenshaw having never been there before. WOW. The food portion was incredible. I will get two+ meals of what was some of the most tender General Tso's chicken I have even had. For the amount of food, the price was very reasonable and the food was ready as soon as I arrived. I will be back.
