I was here for the Christmas Popup bar in the hotel restaurant, Eliza Kitchen. All of the holiday decorations were so pretty and festive. From the cocktail menu to was hard to pick a drink. I got the icy blue winter which was delicious. I had a quesadilla for dinner. Service was fast. We had limited time before a show and were finished in 45 minutes. I would go back again for something else.

I almost wrote of the Hotel Indigo chain as there have been quite a few that have not been that great. This location in Pittsburgh was definitely the best Hotel Indigo I've seen. I try and stay at IHG properties as their rewards program rocks. The lobby was massive and had an industrial theme based on the old steel mills of Pittsburgh. There was seating and work tables and stations so you could get some things done. The rooms were also quite large and had a loft feel to them. The tall windows provided a great view and the bathroom was new and the shower was great. The internet was also good for video calls and such. The onsite restaurant was also pretty good. There's nothing super close, but when the weathers nice, a 15 minute walk across the hot metal bridge would put you right into the thick of things. There's even a 6th floor patio which would be cool to hang out if it wasn't December. And the dude at the front desk was super friendly too when I arrived just before 11a.This hotel was off my radar, but I'd stay here again, even if I wasn't heading to Oakland in the morning. Get yourself a bottle of Indoggo Gin and enjoy yourself!

Hotel Indigo is a unique IHG property around 5 minutes from University of Pittsburg in an area called Oakland. If your looking for cookie cutter hotel this ain't it. Although not new, it's maybe five years old it's in fantastic condition. The exterior has a sleek modern look that stands out for the areas small office park. The pull up to unload baggage and check in is tight. Surface parking is beside the hotel and controlled by a hotel swipe key. There is an overnight charge of around $15. A smooth professional check-in and wow a really cool lobby with authentic industrial equipment showcased. A small shop for drinks and snacks is nearby. Elevators are visible. A large screen TV was enjoyed during my stay. The room key worked to my king suite. Everything worked, was spotless and all of the necessary items were contained in the bath. I found the bed over my two days comfy. The shower ranks up as the best I've ever experienced at a hotel. It's huge, great pressure and a large shower head and shower wand. Impressive! There was some amount of noise above, but it was not disruptive when going to bed. The property is missing some fill service amenities like a pool and fitness center. However it makes up for it with a full service restaurant and bar that was reviewed under its name. The evening I was their they had live music. I would return as my stay was close to flawless. I also found the price point for my early Spring stay to be a super value. Ultimately the location was the reason I chose Hotel Indigo and it proved perfect to the university. A 4.5 seems to suit them, rounding down.

This hotel is sharp and stylish, very clean and the location is great. The breakfast was excellent and staff were friendly and helpful. It has a nice roof terrace and patio area. With that being said the bed was somewhat hard and not very comfortable, at least for me. Over all very pleased with this hotel. The price was a little high and so was the parking. It's just parking, not sure why it should not be free as a courtesy. Or at least $10.00. $22.00 is a little much.

Beautiful venue--was there for the "Ghost Bomber" presentation. Over 100 people, two servers--WTF!!!! Our server was great, but overwhelmed! The "Service" was terrible---almost 2 hours for a bowl of soup and hummus! And the hotel had an estimate on how many people were going to attend. We got our food when the presentation was over!

This Hotel Indigo is located in downtown Pittsburgh in the Oakland area. Hotel Indigo showcases industrial decor that I was happy and looking forward to seeing in Pittsburgh with its rich history. The hotel does a great job merging industrial themed and modern decor throughout. Loved the artwork and furnishings.Let's get to it! The hotel is reasonable priced. They have on site parking $20 a night w key card access. Overflow parking in garage next door $5 on weekends. There is a lovely restaurant on site and store to buy necessities and snacks. The food and drinks in the store are very reasonable priced compared to other hotels. I was happily surprised. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Loved the blackout curtains. After a 12 hr car drive, I slept like a baby with those curtains. The beds were very comfortable. The decor in the room was very nice. Bathroom area was clean and nice. Little Bath and Body Works stress products on the counter. Fridge in the room. There is a microwave in the lobby in the store area. The hotel Staff had great hospitality. I know why 4 stars. Well, Saturday night we came in from a long day of walking due to college visit. My key card did not work. I went downstairs and she re- keyed the car. No dice. 4th trip downstairs, the security guard came with me w master key. He said he thought the lock was dead. I was tired and very irrated. I just wanted sleep as there was another long drive back in the morning. Other than that, great stay. We didn't get to eat in the restaurant but others said it was good.

My stay was relaxing the restaurant was good basic menu the food was prepared as requested it was fresh, flavorful and hot not an overcooked or dry piece of protein to be had 5 stars!!!Our accommodations were clean, comfortable, quite the best part was that my dog was welcomed! The outside was clean and tidy so is the lobby and the desk clerks on both shifts were lovely.I don't have any complaints but I do have a few suggestions.(1)The cost of parking is outrageous almost $30 a night(2) It would be nice to have a chair in the sleeping area near window to read not have to sit on bed(3) The hand shower head was not working(4) A grab bar in the shower is essential to safety That's it, will gladly recommend and looking forward to another stay.
