Hoffer's BBQ

I am in tears. Why? I had my first taste of Hoffer's BBQ this weekend and have to wait until May for another one. I travel. A lot for work. Including TX, TN, NC, SC, AL, MS etc. And out of the 30-50 BBQ places that I have visited over the last 10 years, THIS BBQ Is by far, the best ever!! Meat is perfect, and tender, sauce is tangy not icky sweet. I wanna go next weekend. But, I have to wait. LOVE love you guys. Great family. See you

Excellent BBQ! If you're in the area during summer hours you need to make a stop here. Brisket, ribs, smoked max &cheese are all excellent. Highly recommend if you're a bbq fan.

Today was our second visit to Hoffer's. Had some delicious BBQ with music from the Wood's Family Band. We had a great afternoon.

Great BBQ. Hard to find but it is amazing... only on weekends in the summer but get there if you can!

I admit to being a bit unique. I'm not typically a fan of BBQ but the rest of my family is. We visited Hoffer's based on a recommendation and are very happy we did. The service was very friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic! I had chicken with garlic parmesan sauce along with French fries. The chicken was melt-in your mouth soft and wonderfully flavored. The fries were among the best I've ever had - prepared in Hoffer's special way. Delicious!!! Among the other items ordered by my family was a Beef Brisket sandwich, loaded French fries topped with Brisket, and Macaroni and Cheese with Brisket. Every item ordered earned rave reviews. Beyond the fantastic food, the atmosphere is delightful. The outdoor setting is well shaded and right beside a stream. A charming covered bridge crosses the stream. The are open on Saturdays and Sundays during the summer season. It is definitely worth a trip.
