Great coffee, great service in a cute store. Barista is amazing and passionate about the coffee.

I've been here a few times since it's within walking distance of my house. I ordered the strawberry matcha latte here I believe this is the second time and it's really good and refreshing for the summer. Every time I've been in here I've had great customer service. The staff is very welcoming and warm. The prices are very fair as well. When I went in today I mentioned I dropped my dog off at home to come back and get a drink and they gave me a pup cup to bring home to him! I'll definitely be back it's nice to have shops within walking distance of my house.

A gem in south hill area! A great neighborhood coffee shop that provides high quality coffee drinks and local bakery goodies. I've been a couple of times over the year and tried both heir hot and iced drinks, enjoyed them all. People working there are so nice, i really enjoyed talking with them :)#supportlocalbusiness

Stopped in for coffee and a cinnamon roll. Coffee was very good. The cinnamon roll was ok. They had a 10oz cup size, which was good for me. Prices were on the less expensive side for a small coffee shop (at least for my order).The cafe is on the smaller side. They have a variety of seating, including 3 or 4 square tables which could be used for working. They had some other seating for talking, and board games. We didn't attempt the wifi. For getting work done, not sure about outlets.Everyone inside was friendly.

On a scale of cotton candy to Brussels sprouts, Hilltop Coffee is a tiramisu cake. Each bite is layered and delicious. I'm always nervous about visiting new-to-me coffee shops when there's no parking lot in sight, but Hilltop Coffee is surrounded by free street parking! It's set at the corner of two streets, and it offers a few tables on the inside for 2-4 people. I enjoyed my vanilla latte immensely, and I also loved chatting with the barista about reading! It's always a delight to find another book lover. I'd highly recommend a visit to Hilltop Coffee!

I stopped by here this past Sunday with my wife for our morning coffee. Every Sunday we try to hit up a new local coffee shop in Pittsburgh and on this day we decided to try Hilltop Coffee. It's located on Arlington Ave in an area of Pittsburgh that I can't say I have ever visited before. However the inside of this shop is cute with a couple of tables and then some comfortable chairs as well. It's not large but they have artwork on the walls which is for sale and a display case for pastries as well as a cooler which has cold drinks in it. For my coffee on this morning I decided to go with a regular large latte and then my wife got a peppermint mocha latte. We also went with a cinnamon and sugar donut and an Apple fritter from the display case. As the lady behind the counter was serving us the pastries she noted that the donuts were fresh that morning. After a couple of minute wait I had everything and was on my way. I first started with the fritter and thought it was good as it was sweet, moist and had a nice apple flavor. Up next was the cinnamon and sugar doughnut which was decent. You could taste both the cinnamon and sugar but it wasn't anything special. Finally, after I had eaten both of those I was able to try the coffee. I ended up enjoying it but I think that if I would have had just the espresso alone, that it would have been too bitter. However, with the whole milk, it actually tamped down on that bitterness.The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. My wife and I enjoyed the baked goods and while I think the espresso alone would have been too bitter, it worked in my latte.

Really cozy coffee shop. Good barista, good coffee, though my husband (the real coffee critic) thought his espresso was over roasted. A few tables and comfy chairs. Street parking. Love the little plants in cups.

I recently moved to Munhall and was disappointed (but not really surprised) to learn that there is no coffeeshop in the area. The closest non-chain is Hilltop Coffee, 15 minutes away in Arlington. There wasn't much going on in the area on a cold, wet weekend, but that meant it was easy to find free street parking on the main drag. Inside, the shop is cute, with artists' work on the walls for sale, and upbeat pop songs coming through the speakers. I enjoyed a hot chocolate and a delicious raspberry bar as I worked at one of the several wooden tables. There are also a couple of cushy chairs, a well-stocked bookcase, and a handicap-accessible unisex bathroom (alas, there is a step up to get into the shop). Dan kept me company, as we swapped stories about studying German history in graduate school. I will definitely be back!

I loved my visit to Hilltop Coffee this week. Its first big win for me was being open so early - love that I could grab a drink before work. The chai was a bit sweet for me though; I'll try something else next time.We really enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere and the friendly conversation the barista struck up with us. It was nice to see that he greeted the customer after us by name. It's clear that this is a neighborhood gathering place.

Cute, quaint coffee shop located in Arlington, near South Side of Pittsburgh. Amazing coffee flavors, fair price!
