I recently went to Hickory Heights to the holiday "pop up bar" at the tavern. It is the same bar as always 365, but decorated to the nines in green and red, lights all over, and festive music playing. They have a really great holiday drink list, too. From the menu:Santa Claus Mopolitan -- TitoS, Iriple Sec, cranberry Juice, White PeachSugarcookie Martini -- Vanilla Vodka, Amaretto, Baileys, MilkSpiked Hot Chocolate -- Kahlua, Vanilla Vodka, Creme de Cacao, Hot ChocolateSpiced Cranberry Paloma -- Espolon, Lime, Grapefruit, Cranberry, Cinnamon SyrupMistletoe Mule -- Titos, Lime, Cranberry, GingerbeerJack Frost -- Bacardi, Blue Curacao, Cream of Coconut, PineappleThe Grinch -- Cherry Vodka, Malibu, Blue curacao, Midori, PineapplePeppertini -- Candy Cane Vodka, Vanilla Vodka, Creme de CacaoCheck it out if you're nearby! It's worth a visit!

I was here at Hickory Heights during the winter months for a pop-up holiday experience. I don't understand why it is "pop up" except for the decorations, and it was very nicely decorated. The drinks were fruity, fun, and festive. Food was the regular menu, and the flatbread that I had was delicious. I love the location, tucked away in the middle of the residential area. All of the guests we spoke with were very friendly and welcoming! I'd return for sure.

We enjoy Hickory Heights food, service, and Happy Hour at least once a week. They have exceptional Happy Hour specials, and the food is outstanding. The service is exceptional, and the staff is friendly and responsive. We highly recommend this restaurant. Open to the public.

I can't believe that this course gets any play, given the course conditions, pace of play, uncompromising staff and ownership, and price. The amount of money they charge for this place is criminal.Let's start with the course layout and conditions. How they managed to cram 18 holes into this tiny residential parcel of land was admittedly an engineering marvel. Two consecutive par 3's on the front nine, several blind shots, short/narrow holes, burnt out fairways, weeds, and drastic elevation changes are present throughout.Speaking of the consecutive par 3's, they have completely lost the tee boxes on both holes. Rather than spend money to repair them, they have set up mats for both holes with short pitch shots (nothing more than a sand wedge) onto severely sloped greens - beyond a joke.Pace of play was also abysmal - 3 hours for 9 holes. We gave up after 9 holes and asked for a rain check for 9 holes on a later date, which I thought they gave us until I went to redeem the rain check. Because they charge more money to play 9 holes than half the price for a round of 18 holes, they asked me to pay more money to play the "rain check" 9. I not-so-politely declined (even speaking to the owner, with no success). I told them to keep their rain check, and advised that I would never return.I strongly suggest that you keep your money and do the same. Way better public courses out there.

This was my first time playing this course, and overall the course was in decent shape for a very hilly course. I had a good first impression with the friendly staff in the pro shop and the bartender inside the clubhouse. Both were very friendly and accommodating.Despite not moving the layout of this course, it still would have been a solid 3 stars if it weren't for two unpleasant interactions. One with the starter that seemed to want to argue with everyone, and just succeeded in rubbing everyone the wrong way.More egregiously was what I can only describe as a snotty teenager who decided to give me an unprompted attitude for not returning the cart where (apparently) I was supposed to. I dropped it off right behind all of the parked carts where I thought it was supposed to go before rudely hearing "That's not where they go, park it over here where it's supposed to go."Maybe put up a sign advising where cart returns should go or don't employ folks that shouldn't be talking to customers.

Terrible tee boxes, greens haven't been rolled in weeks(ball would bounce on every green while putting), cups need re-cut.. some of the holes and greens were comical. The second par3(hole6)had a putt putt green with the worst pin placement I have ever seen. The pace of play was horrendous and took my 3-some 5:30 hours to finish 18.The practice range is good and for $5 to hit off of a grass range was nice. The tee box at the driving range was actually better than a lot of the actual holes.80% of the greens and tees at a local municipal course were better for less than half the cost. If I could rate this place on the friendliness of staff and the practice area alone I would rate higher, but we came to golf and that was horrendous.EDIT:Just had food from the restaurant. The bartender was very nice and quick with great service. The burger I ordered "medium" came out burnt to a crisp. I sent it back and left hungry. Definitely won't be back, ever.

They charge $58 to play this course it's a goat path there's no grass on the Tee boxes the fairways are chewed up the course is a dump. they have installed nice gps in the carts so I guess they want to recoup their money asap at the expense of the golfers. You can find much better courses to play than this one out a lot cheaper price.

One of the worst golf courses I've ever played. The jerk-off staff tries to act like it's a high quality course when it is absolute junk. Every tee box was torn up, one even had a green golf mat laid out on it to hit off of!! Don't waste your money on this piece of shit. So many good courses in the area, pick anywhere but here.

Course was above average, personnel was extremely below average. Starter was maybe the most miserable person I've ever met and should probably clear some things up with his family before ever coming back to work.Very disappointed because in terms of Pittsburgh golf this course is probably closer to a 3 1/2-4 star, but the best I could give it is a 2, and that's generous based on my overall experience. Wouldn't support these guys another day truthfully.

I've been golfing here a long time and this is the worst shape this course has ever been in. The owners of this course are dilusional thinking it's worth $60. Must still be salty they failed as a country club. But they won't put any money into it to make it nice. They have a 3% fee for using credit cards. I'd tell you to make sure to bring cash but you're better off going somewhere else. Their tee boxes are terrible and the greens are so thin that it's only a matter of time before disease or bugs destroy them. Avoid at all costs. Not worth the $60 it costs. Also there is a SEWAGE leak right in front of the 18th tee box. This place is literal shit.
