Helltown doesn't look like much from the outside, but it is such a cool place to be for some drinks and fun activities, such as trivia night (which was a blast). They've got some good beers on draft and even some good ciders in cans. The workers here are extremely friendly! I hope to come back when I'm back in town visiting family!

This brewery has such great beer options. My family really enjoyed this mount pleasant location. They are kid and dog friendly with activities for kids and areas for dogs. The beer was all delicious! We came on a Sunday and played the music bingo, how fun!! We will be coming back, this place is a must stop.

We are staying in an air bnb in Bear Rocks and had to come check out Helltown in the afternoon. Came isn to have a tasting of some of their beers and take some cans home. I personally enjoyed Black Metal IPA, Mischievous Brown Ale, and the Russian Imperial Stout. Outstanding dark beers are made here! Also a BBQ food truck in residence was making some really fantastic looking Que! Absolutely a must visit in Mount Pleasant. Huge outdoor spaces, covered and sunny as well as inside seating and Merch!

We popped by this little small town brewery since we were in the area. I'd only had one other beer from Helltown so I was pretty excited to try more. Due to the covid restrictions, it was only outdoor seating at the moment. They brought a food truck along, and were setting up for a live band by the time we were leaving. Picnic tables were placed under large tents so there was plenty of shade and space to social distance from others, which was really great! I hope to come back here once it is safe to lift restrictions because the indoor area looked wonderful as well! Parking is on a gravel lot or grass. It can be a little tough to find a spot but they have extra parking in the back. The beers themselves were good. We tried three different IPAs on tap. Everything was served in a plastic cup currently, but that doesn't diminish the taste at all. The bartender was friendly and she let me try any beers that I wanted before ordering. The place overall was very clean and I felt comfortable in this setting. It's a little surprising of a location because you drive through what feels like a little neighborhood to get there, but once you arrive it definitely feels like a relaxing vibe.

What a great experience we had here. We were doing the Laurel Highlands Pour Tour. We stopped by and was confused at first. When you walk in, the main entrance is where you do the tastings at. I walked around and didn't see anything at first. However Dave greeted us. He was super friendly. It was nice to learn the location in Mt. Pleasant is where it all started at. That place is not the best brewery area to hang out at. However if you're going for beer it's a good choice. All of the beers were good. My favorite was Idle Hands. A double IPA, I'm not an IPA guy but two of the breweries I've visited have been my favorites. We ended up walking away with 2 cases of beer. That's a first for us. I paid $85 for two cases. That's a first for me as well.

This is a pretty solid brewery. We were on our way from a night in Pittsburgh, to a wedding at Seven Springs, and this was not far out of the way. There isn't any food here, but it looked like there are usually food trucks around meal times. My wife and I split a flight and enjoyed all of our samples. My personal favorite was the Misfit and Misanthropes #24, a very juicy NEIPA. Wouldn't make a special trip to come here, but if in the area again, would definitely stop by again.

On a long RV trip across the USA with a couple months in each state we happened upon Helltown Brewing while in Pittsburgh. The beers were terrific, some of the best stouts I've ever had and the IPAs were on point as well. The server was also super friendly and a wealth of information about the surrounding area and as a whitewater enthusiast offered us some awesome opportunities nearby. Great brews, great people.

Beer was really good. Good selection. The location is great. Spacious and open. They had Spanky's Rollin Kitchen there for food. We had the nachos. Good food plenty of toppings. Only had one and sometimes two servers at the bar, but they did a good job keeping up. It was pretty busy.

Looked up a local microbrewery and found this place. Great atmosphere inside. Out of the way but once there I could see this being a guaranteed stop each time visiting family. Rudolf red is really good. Tried several others. Nice variety. During summer could really picture great times even outside.
