I am a huge fan of the locally-owned Hazelwood Cafe. They have excellent pastries and drinks. They make their own chai if that's your thing, for non-coffee drinkers or those coming from the gym they have excellent smoothies, and the African coffee brings a special taste to those who appreciate good coffee.Hazelwood Cafe also always has an array of baked goodies that have provided to be excellent. I am not a breakfast sandwich guy but my life enjoys the breakfast sandwich on a bagel. Hazelwood Cafe is a little something for everyone. Cozy yet plenty of seats and free wifi. Great place for work, a meeting, or just a quick drink and snack.And how could I forget the service? There's nothing like a locally-owned business that truly stems from the community.

If you're in the area, definitely check this new coffee shop out. It's on the corner of the main drag in Hazelwood. Street parking or there's a lot next door for the bakery (I just assumed they wouldn't mind I parked there ), it's also on a bus line. I'm a pretty boring coffee drinker, so I got my usual Americano. They use a blend of African beans, which for me has a more robust flavor. There's a variety of drinks offered including a seasonal drink menu. The breakfast sandwich was delicious and huge, will be taking my other half with me. In addition to sandwiches they have bagels and pastries. The space is accommodating for those who need a spot to study or work. It's also VERY quiet in here.. no music playing. I would prefer some background noise, but if you're studying/working it might be ideal. Looking forward to enjoying more coffees here!

The cafe has a nice vibe. Friendly staff and guests. Ordered a brown sugar iced latte with oat and a breakfast sandwich. Sandwich was huge! Their pretzel salad looked SO good... might have to go back and get me some.

Friendly barista, wonderful cortado, and wonderful to see such a great cafe. Love seeing this shop open so close to Hazelwood Green!

Great breakfast sandwiches! I had a bacon egg and cheese - the bacon is thin cut, which some might not like, but it has a great smoky flavor. Coffee is 10/10

Love supporting local - great coffee and vibe here right on the corner with tons of parking at the lot across the steeet. My americano was excellent!
