Hazel Grove Brewing

I had been eying this place ever since they popped up on my Instagram feed. Finally, I was able to try with some friends. They have good beers that are reasonably priced. I love the fact that the back patio is enclosed and separated from the busy street. I'm excited to see all the food trucks that swing through! P.S. parking on the street was easy even though there is a small lot in front of the brewery.

New brewery in Hazlewood.  Bringing people together, while serving well-crafted beers to the local Hazelwood community.  Located in an old industrial building with a bright, colorful, plant-filled taproom.  Their indoor space is super nice, but they also have an outdoor area with tents!  They are a bring your own food brewery that also offers Food trucks!  Open Thursday through Sundays! Friendly staff with quick, good service!  Highly recommend adding them to your Pittsburgh brewery list.

I've been following Hazelgrovebeer since they first posted on Instagram to stay updated. This was our first visit to their new location, which opened recently in the area. If you know me, one of my goals for 2023 was to visit every single microbrewery in the Pittsburgh region. Since then, many more breweries have popped up, which is fantastic because it means we have even more places to explore.Enough about me--let's talk about Hazelgrovebeer. We pulled up and entered the building, which has a nice indoor area to relax and enjoy a beer. They also have an outdoor area with tents to shield you from the heat. I sampled both the hazy IPA and the Pittsburgh Weather Hazy Pale Ale, a name that couldn't be more fitting for Pittsburgh these days. The Pale Ale was awesome and quickly became my favorite. I also tried the Amber, which was different in a good way.I had a glass of the Hazy Pale Ale, and @winecraft had a glass of the Dry Apple Cider, which was extremely good. I really liked its taste--it's a go-to for me when it comes to apple cider. The people and the atmosphere were great. I can't wait to return; it's just outside the city, making it a perfect destination. Oh and I had to snag a 4 pack of the Pittsburgh weather for home consumption. Cheers!!

Great service and the food truck they had was awesome as well. Cool spot with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Bartenders were friendly and very helpful. I'll be back soon. Recommend for a chill brewery.

Nice low key place. No food served while we were there. Service was decent but not super knowledgeable about the pours. It's ok. We sampled and found some we liked.

Friendly staff, great variety of quality brews in a casual freshly renovated space! Wonderful to have another brewery join the Hazelwood community.
