Always great food here. And the service has always been welcoming as well. I recommend coming here for lunch.

Delicious Mother's Day brunch special! Four courses of sample-sized, family style dishes. It was a great way to try a little bit of everything. My favorites were the goat cheese croquettes, fried artichokes, risotto and the pound cake dessert. The drinks were delicious and our service was great. It's a nice spot for a special occasion!

Wow- I'm still dreaming about how good their food was!! My family and I came here a few weeks ago on a Saturday. Due to the snow, we were one of the only diners at the restaurant. Our waitress was so sweet, very helpful with menu recommendations and was very catering. For my meal, I had the Goat Ravioli. This was one of the most unique dishes I've ever had. The dish contained ravioli, cranberries, cooked apples and a brown butter sauce. The combo just worked and I would order this dish again. I loved the decor of the building. Very historic. It was also decorated for Christmas, which I loved! Overall, great food, good service. 10/10 would come again!

Absolutely love love love this place for a date night, drinks by the bar or a night out with your girls. The food is so good and so homey. I went with a couple of girlfriends a month or so ago, and we sat in the main dining room and it was next to a full bookcase, and it was just so calm, and the ambience was super chill and a perfect place to spill the tea. The service there is so awesome and so accommodating for whatever you need.

As you arrive, the outside does not describe what awaits you on the inside. When you enter, you will see a very inviting bar area with an old fashioned wooden bar and stained glass. It has a European pub atmosphere. On the other side. Was an elegant seating area. After that, another open seating area plus an area that reminds you of an old library or a large study. Everyone there was very friendly, and more than willing to help and answer any questions you may have. The menu was full of various options. There were nine in our party, and we all had something different. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. They had a nice selection of desserts too! And some adult coffees to choose also. Overall, we had a great experience. I highly recommend trying this restaurant. Whether as a date, or a party, you will be happy you came here. I most definitely will be coming back!

Great cocktails and huge delicious salads. Really a cozy place with friendly staff. The stained glass window is amazing. Be sure to ask your server to tell you about it it's history.

I have to give 5 stars even though I have criticisms and our meal was less than perfect. The way the manager handled my cold potatoes needs to be standard; he was amazing. Our server was very prompt and gracious (forgive me for forgetting her name. She was wonderful!). The Turkey Devonshire was very, very good despite looking less than refined. Overall this is a 5 star upper mid priced restaurant that is unique and offers solid, good food.

Our wedding at the Hartwood was absolutely amazing. Dana, the Event Manager, put a lot of time and care into our event with organizing the space, discussing décor, and answering every little question with care. We always enjoyed going here, and we will continue to dine here with so much more appreciation. Overall Dana made the ambiance and atmosphere perfect for our big day. The quality of the food is always amazing, and a dinner for 30, it was still impeccable. The crab cakes, chicken, gnocchi - it was all so amazing and our guests, even the picky eaters and food specific diet requests were raved by all.The staff was extremely attentive, and no one went hungry or thirsty. Their professionalism and kindness to those from 4 years to 96 was noticed by all. A sincere thank you and gratitude to the entire staff. We couldn't have been happier on our big day.

Good food but wait staff was BAD had to ask for bread / asked for water refills and never got them - placed our order for drinks and an appetizer- received both and finished both before waitress even returned to take our order - never saw her after that

Always a great dining experience ! Never disappoints. Food is always prepared and perfect ! Staff is very attentive.
