Playful and welcoming bar. We had fun here and enjoyed the creative cocktails. It's a unique place and I would encourage you to try it.The bartender welcomed us immediately and helped us make decisions about the drink menu.Parking is on-street, but it was easy to find a spot. The decor is imaginative. They were playing some cool movies with the sound off.

Had the occasion to be in Millvale and found myself here at Harolds Haunt and was not at all disappointed. Also had the opportunity to meet the owner, and her mom who were so lovely and accommodating.

What an amazing little they-bar! This place is owned and protected by witches. Their drinks are ever changing and delicious. Their food was hot and so wonderfully flavorful. There was a vegan option. There were plenty of cute and nerdy queer people to talk to. I can't wait to come back for one of their themed nights! They do ritual Wednesday and Sober Sundays. I was so proud to bring a sober friend here.

Lovely, quirky venue catering to a number of communities - Wiccans/Pagans (apparently a spiritual community with a *very* strong and visible presence in Millvale), Drag fans, Retro-heads, Gamers, Enthusiasts of fantasy/supernatural themed media, and LGBTQ+ folk who want a hangout space in the suburbs outside of Pittsburgh proper. Popped in here when visiting Millvale hoping that Mr. Smalls Cafe was open (it wasn't that day), so decided the next best thing was visiting Harold's Haunt - a place I've heard of a lot from friends. The event going on that day was Sober Sunday, on which the bar keeps a limited mocktail menu (this includes a cinnamon-flavored beverage named after the dragon Smaug from Tolkien's The Hobbit!). Classic music videos were playing on the TV and the Glittersty drag supply store was hosting a pop-up sales event. Other events on their calendar include "Orphan Thanksgiving" type Found Family days, Saturday Brunches, geeky/gaming get togethers, and live performances. If you go here with a group, there is a decent selection of quirky board and card games to keep you and your friends busy. It's great to see a place like this in the area. Absolutely love what this place is doing and hope it keeps up!

I think it is an interesting place and I was going to explore that place. My friend really likes this place and brought all of us there. But that bartender ruined my night. He was MEAN to me. Potentially maybe he was racist or hated our group which is a bunch of straight people who just tried to explore this place. I had to go out and get some air to calm myself down. Afterwards, my friends told me that the bartender was just very rude to them as well. Ok so he was not being racist so he was just genuinely being mean to me. But still not a good reason to be rude to anyone not to mention they are your customers. So, this place could be very nice but I wouldn't know. That bartender really ruined this place for me. I think NO ONE with that kind of attitude should be in the service industry. I think my suggestion is if you are not white or not gay. Just save your time and money. Why go there to get some unpleasant feelings. Maybe he is the owner but I strongly doubt an owner will do business like that.
