Michael Gaffney was the most disrespectful employee I have ever come across. Screaming at our group on Hole #2. Claiming he was asst pro. he is rude and has no business around people. Very hateful and seems angry at life. The key to living a joyful life is having a positive attitude.

My friend, who is a member of this club, called me on short notice while I was at work and asked if I wanted to play a round of golf in the afternoon. I met up with him wearing what I wore to work. A nice pair of expensive jeans and an Under Armor golf polo shirt. I didn't have time to go home and assumed my outfit was fine for a quick 9 holes.Well the similar outfit I wore to a much nicer golf course 2 days earlier wasn't good enough for hannastown. As we were teeing off on the first hole, the guy from the pro shop came outside and called my friend over and told him I need to buy a pair of their outdated, overpriced shorts or leave. So I chose to leave. I guess arriving in a Mercedes, with my expensive clubs, Movado watch, and clothes way nicer than what the pro shop employee was wearing wasn't good enough for Hannastown golf club. This is from a golf club that doesn't look like they've updated their pro shop and bar/restaurant since the 1980's. So remember Hannastown golf club, your current clientele is getting older. Younger money knows it's ridiculous to spend thousands of dollars a year to play at one course. I'll continue to play public courses which look nicer, have a better staff, are way more updated, and are much cheaper. Sorry my jeans offended you, but don't worry, you'll definitely never see me again.

Hurricane Junior Golf Tour 2020. It is 90F plus outside with no rain in site. After one round of golf the admin at this facility have decided that no golf carts will be driven by spectators "parents" of the kids/teenagers golfing in this weather. Keep in my the kids are not allowed to have a cart. So now the parents have to hoof it carrying coolers with oranges/water else their kids who have to walk the course are toast. Pretty sad a course that barely had traffic due COVID19 is now going to pull this bologna. I hope they are not rewarded with hosting another junior golf tournament.
