Hangover BBQ

This is the best BBQ in the Wheeling area in my opinion. I stop in every time that I am back home in Wheeling. I haven't had an item yet that I haven't thoroughly enjoyed. I usually get the turkey and brisket. This time around I opted for the 1/2 chicken and pulled pork. It was amazing! They also have great specials. Keep up the great work Billy, Stephanie and Brianna! Always a pleasure seeing you! Can't wait to come back again

My wife and I met 2.5 years ago. We have spent at least one night in nearly 30 states during that time, and about 15 countries. This was THE BEST bbq we have had. The beans, cornbread, and sides were awesome. The meet was fall off the bone and delicious.You know it's good when they advertise that they serve until they sell out and they were sold out of two meats.Wish I lived closer!

Top notch BBQ! Grabbed some lunch today and it was difficult deciding what to get. They have several specials available but ended up getting items off the regular menu. If I go back I'm gonna give one of the specials a shot. Reasonable prices, nice people, and quality food.

Guys, remember in middle school when that cute girl touched your hand and you promised yourself you'd never wash that hand again? Well this is that exact scenario, except the cute girl is barbecue, and I'm a grown man. That's right, I'm never going to wash my mouth again after eating this food. I came in from out of town today - I live in Kansas City, a barbecue town. I made a special trip to visit Hangover, and it did not disappoint. Meat, sides and sauces were all amazing. Only wish I could come back again!

Oh lord this place is good! My husband and I took a drive down from Pittsburgh for the day to explore Wheeling and we're so glad we stopped at this gem. The husband and wife team that own the place are the nicest people we've come across in a long time. You can tell they're passionate about what they do. I had the chopped brisket sandwich with a side of mac and my husband had the rib plate with collard greens and cucumber salad - all fantastic. The traditional bbq sauce and the apple butter were perfect. We also got a couple Leona's ice cream sandwiches for dessert...delicious. The owner also let us try a fried rib which changed my life lol. If you're in Wheeling go check this place out NOW!

These folks are doing something real special down there! From the Brisket Noodle Bowls to the Fried Ribs they're just hitting home runs!! The Pits are rolling smoke at 2:30am like clockwork to provide some of the most tender delicious BBQ I've had the pleasure of experiencing. Mac N Chz is just creamy deliciousness, ice cream sandwiches that everyone should get in on. Do yourself a favor and get down there, enjoy it!!

I have a hard time believing this place doesn't have a higher rating. We came to this place during our stay at Oglebay Resort. We wanted good bbq and chose this place. An FYI for out of Towner's, you order in one building and then cross the street for seating in another building. No problem, the street you have to cross isn't busy. I got the 2 meat 2 sides platter with ribs and sausage, Cole slaw and macaroni salad. It's served with a small piece of cornbread and pickled jalapenos, onions and pickles. For my sauce, I chose the spicy mustard and the horesradish. The ribs were phenomenal. I prefer my ribs without bbq sauce and these ribs cakes rubbed perfectly!! The meat was tender and the bones pulled apart easily....YUM!! I was not a fan of the coleslaw and macaroni salad was just alright. The cornbread was wonderful...dense and sweet. The sausage was out of this world. My husband got the brisket and ribs. The brisket was tender and juicy and cooked to perfection. He got macaroni and cheese which was devine....it was creamy and thick! Staff was friendly and let us try all the sauces bc we were out of TownersWe will for sure be visiting again!

Best ribs in the valley only thing they run out early so order early. I like them so much it's the only thing I've ever ordered.

Very very good BBQ! Must try! Small carry out place. Had the brisket, pulled pork, macaroni salad and cornbread. All were delicious! Brisket with the horseradish sauce was my favorite. Didn't have not one thing I wouldn't get again. Definitely a must stop and try!

Good place I like it there very comfortable and they are really friendly Fried RibJalapeno Cheddar Brats were both really good
