Greenbean Coffee House

I really enjoyed this outpost of Greenbean Coffee House. The space opens directly into an inner courtyard/hallway on the ground floor of a retirement community. The shop, in addition to a restaurant, goods store, and spa, makes for a lively environment with a steady flow of people. The staff person was friendly, helpful, and efficient. Seating varies from high top tables to single couches to high top bars along the wall. Outlets seem to be limited to the latter, but the WiFi here is fast and reliable. There are even a number rocking chairs on the front portico, and the WiFi extends to that area. The indoor seating space can get a tad loud as sound reverberates.

LOVE this place! They have a double drive thru their parking lot is after the Alley. There crèmes,Birthday cake latte, pastries! All is super good. All their pastries are homemade and delicious. They employees are very nice and friendly.

My first time in Altoona and these guys really hit the spot. My iced Vanilla Latte was so good that I went back for a second one! Friendly people, good coffee and a fun neighborhood makes it easy to recommend.

Absolutely gorgeous location!! I cannot believe this used to be the old Mercy Hospital. I could have stayed for hours enjoying the sights, sounds and smells, but I had to get on the road back to North Carolina. We tried out both locations on our visit back home. Both experiences were great! Customer service was on point. My ten year old says his vanilla cream was better than Starbucks :).

Really tasty coffee spot, and I like the drive through feature. I hit this place on my way out of town and got one of the iced specialty drinks. It was tasty, but super sweet for my taste. That's on me - I should have known what I was getting myself into ordering a drink named after a candy bar! I like my coffee super strong, so if I had rubbed two of my brain cells together, I would have ordered something else. That being said - GREAT menu with tons of options, and definitely something for everyone! If I find myself in Altoona again, I'll be back!
