Great Wall

Posting a recent menu because their most recent one was four years old. Prices have been updated. General Tso's, Orange chicken and Shrimp egg rolls were very good.

Thought the clear updated menu would be a good idea to post here. Hopefully it helps.

This is a good local option for Chinese in New Castle. Recommend take out only since there is no reason to eat in if you get my driftLove the thick lo mein noodles and general Tso chic and everything is piping hot. Tips always welcome. Give this place a try. Lock your car. Lousy lighting crappy parking lot BEWARE!!

Love this restaurant! Service is courteous and fast. Prices are reasonable. Portions are generous. I live in Freedom now, so when someone visits, I make them stop there first!

Great wall holds a special place in everyone's heart who lives within a 20 mile radius. The General Tso is the best you will ever have. It's as good as it gets and I can promise you that. They do deliver but do not accept credit cards so be sure to bring cash.

We've been customers of this restaurant for years. The food has always been good even though the staff has changed a few times. The restaurant is clean but looks terrible. The decor hasn't been updated since the place opened. I spoke to one of the employees who said that they rent the space and that the landlord won't spend any money to update the place. Judging by all of the empty retail space in this once thriving plaza, I'm not surprised. The Great Wall is only one of a few stores left in the shopping center. I like their broccoli with shrimp and my wife gets a specially prepared blend of vegetables and steamed shrimp. Their "fried rice" is a joke. It has almost no extra flavor over the white rice, and isn't even fried. Their egg roles and Crab Rangoon are both note-worthy.

Rice was the worst in the world it tasted like it was reheated. The egg roll was great as well as the meats

During my working day(10plus years ago) I routinely ate at Great Wall. The food was always consistently good. I haven't eaten there for several years, however this evening, my wife and I decided to eat Chinese. I ordered the seafood delight. It was absolutely tasteless with imitation crab, scallops that you needed a magnifying glass to find, and lobster that was like rubber. The chicken in General Tso's was completely overdone. Waste of 30$. Needless to say, we will not be eating there in the future.
