Do not have your wedding here! Very rude and unprofessional staff! I don't know if the blond bartender was drunk or on pills but she had the worst attutude and looked a hot mess. If there is a problem you DO NOT go up to the bride and start yelling at her about getting paid before the wedding is even over!!! The dj ( who is the son of the owner) and you have to use him or no music at all was awful too. Food was good but that's because it's from Remos catering. They overcharged you for everything and refuse to talk to you after about it. I myself work in a restaurant and worked many weddings and if I acted the way the bartenders acted I would of been fired immediately!

I would not recommend the Great Hall to anyone. The owner is rude and the business is a racket. My niece had her wedding there and they wanted us to pay them extra money to use our own DJ. When we found out the DJs are the owner's sons, it made sense that they were fighting us so hard. In the end, the DJs were awful and made the wedding less than fun. At one point I tried to make an appointment to meet with the owner to discuss it and he said "He didn't have time to meet with me and that I shouldn't come up because he wouldn't see me". When my niece tried to contact him regarding this he avoided her as well.I don't know who "Bride101" is that gave them a great recommendation but I'm sure she isn't a real person. If you want a mediocre wedding where every cost is controlled in house, have it at the Great Hall. I guarantee you'll never forget the bad time that you had.

I had my daughter's wedding reception here in October, 2007. I was first impressed with the atmosphere, an old Catholic Church (St. Theresa's).Tom Ravis, the owner, showed us around and we felt the warmth of the space was perfect. I have experience with DJ ing, and was really impressed with their sound system. Fast forward 9 years later, I was asked to step in for the house DJ. I am pleased to say that The Great Hall is a very intimate and accommodating venue to consider for your wedding reception.

I highly recommend the Great Hall for your wedding reception. I had my wedding and reception there this past October. My husband and I were very satisfied. We originally booked just the reception, until we found out that our church was double booked two months prior to our wedding day. We were able to have our ceremony at the hall, the owner was very nice about allowing us to have it there, with such short notice. My bridesmaids and I were able to get dressed next door in the building next to the hall, which is also owned by the same owner as the hall. DJ Tim helped coordinate our entire ceremony. He even attended our rehearsal the night prior to our wedding day. Tim was very professional and was very knowledgeable about every detail for both our wedding reception and ceremony. The catering staff was great we went with Remos catering. You are able to choose between two different caterers which was nice. And the alcohol is byob which is nice. And a huge savings compared to the other reception halls that charge per person. I know it helped us because we had a lot of children attend. A few weeks before our reception they had there parking lot paved, which was an eye sore when we originally booked the hall. All in all I give the great hall 2 thumbs up.
