The best place to get Chinese food i love the service and how they treat there customers

The worst Chinese food I've ever had. Nothing has flavor. The general tso and orange chicken tastes like frozen Chinese food you can buy at Walmart or Martins. You can tell it was frozen due to the rubbery texture. The chicken fried rice has BOILED chicken with NO flavor. The rice tasted like bland unseasoned oily rice. I ordered chow mein and got vegetables in some weird sticky clear sauce. Not appetizing at all. And if you're gonna mess up the order please at least make the food GOOD. But no. Nothing I've had from here is good. I gave it a second chance and I won't be back. I'm better off buying frozen Chinese from the store.

There are lots of Chinese restaurants in Altoona. Lots. And I have eaten in most of them. I'd have to say the best of them all is Great China. They are consistently good. When I order General Tao's chicken or beef with broccoli, or any of my favorites, I know what I will get. A great meal. No question, whether it's eat in or take out. I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal at Great China. In addition, they are always fast. Even when busy it's never been more than 10 -15 minutes from order to plate, and many times even quicker. Their delivery service is fast as well. If you like Chinese food (and who doesn't) and you want a good quality, consistent, dependable place to get it, try Great China. I think you will be happy you did.

Great food and superb service. Cook helped us get a fish dish that we haven't had in 10 years! The highlight of the spot was the fish with mixed vegetables. It wasn't on the menu but I thought I'd ask if they made it anyway and they said they did. I was skeptical but excited about the quality of the type of fish, etc, etc. But when it came out and I tried it all doubts were diminished. Hot (temp.) battered fish pieces in the garlicky brown sauce and vegetables... THE BEST! Would definitely recommend to people but wouldn't suggest large groups (over 4-6).Will definitely be back for more.

Food here was surprisingly decent, considering the location. Where they fell short was service and cleanliness. They seemed surprised that we wanted to dine in (around 7 PM on a Friday) and told us to sit "wherever." We walked in the dining room and three of the perhaps 8 or so booths had not been cleared of prior diners' food and dishes. Plates of mostly-consumed food, just sitting there. After the young girl took our order (by memory - I was impressed), she proceeded to sit at a table with a young man, neither of whom seemed to have much inclination to clear any of the three dirty tables. The young man solved a mean Rubik's cube while we watched from our table. Our food came quickly and, for the most part, was hot and fresh. Overall, the place was just odd. I would have likely rated them better for want of actually cleaning up after customers. Fun fact / easter egg if you go: Check to see whether the paper menu still offers "Kung Poo [sic] chicken"

Great delivery person, very friendly and quick to deliver. Was a bit surprised at the minimum amount of money your order had to come out to just so you could get delivery, but wasn't completely put off by it. When the delivery came, the food was warm and still fairly fresh. I had ordered some chicken, rice, and some egg rolls (as well as some 2 litres of soda). The egg rolls were perfect, and the rice was of typical and good quality. The chicken was also good, but tasted a bit off (I think it was just the sauce). Also, speaking of sauce, they definitely were generous with the amount of packets they put in with the delivery. All in all it was a good experience!

You guys are awesome! Hands down by far best Chinese in town! General tso's is on point fresh and delicious I won't order Chinese food anywhere else because it wouldn't compare!

Food was pretty good, large variety on their menu, good portions, but pricey for what it was.I will be back for more fried crab legs, shrimp toast, and egg rolls.I was disappointed in the flavorless fried rice (with no eggs), and the fact that I asked for extra spicy black bean steak and it was not spicy at all.

Best Chinese take-out/delivery on the area. Food is consistently good, prices are fair. Delivery drivers are always friendly and super fast. I've only dined-in once years ago therefore I can't comment on that experience. Their "order online" feature makes it easier to order than ever before... gone are the days when you'd call during a lunch or dinner rush having to be put on hold repeatedly.I usually order the Kung Pao chicken for myself and have never been disappointed.

Traveled to state college, stayed in Atkins. Easy to found this one with some authentic Chinese food choices. braised Pomfret was pretty good. Even a plain and simple vegetable was tasty for the rice. 5 stars!
