I've had Grant Bar on my list for quite sometime, and visiting for the first time was great. The food was tasty, but if I can be most honest, it was hearing about the pie here that fully sold me. I saw it featured as one of the best pies in Pittsburgh on local PBS and the apple pie did not disappoint a bit! (They are best known for their coconut cream pie, but have several options available including banana, chocolate, and apple.) My burger was very filling and their onion rings here are unique and come with a great special sauce. I love the town of Millvale, because it is rather quaint and offers a lot for its size. I need many more visits here to really continue to find the little gems. I'll be back!

Old school charm and menu, amazing service. Grant Bar is a great place to dine with family. I've been a handful of times but this time I tried the marinated top sirloin which exceeded my expectations. It was so tender and flavorful. Most entrees come with 2 sides. I went with a baked potato and Caesar salad. Both were great. Always fresh bread on the table as well. I appreciate the service in that every course comes out on its own and you never feel rushed. Another first this time was finally trying the coconut cream pie. It lived up to the hype. Creamy, light and delicious. My parents really enjoyed their first time dining here while visiting town. We'll all be back again.

If you are looking for really old fashion restaurant and fine homemade food. Try Grants Bar, located right off Hwy 28 in Millville. Prime Rib on Fri and nice homemade pies.

We were with a group. I do not suggest taking a group there. Most of the breaded food, such as fish, chicken tenders, were overcooked and hard. The mixed vegetables, consisting of broccoli and carrots, they had run out of cauliflower were cold. My dinner was wonderful. Some of the others said their dinner were very good. One person ordered Steak and shrimp I think, her steak was supposed to be medium, and it was rare . The roll and butter were very good, and the pies were great. The waitresses were a bit grumpy because there were two waitresses to take care of the whole restaurant from the bar area to the back room. They do have to take into consideration that eight people from the group had come by the Access van and were to be picked up at a specific time.

Had a great dinner with 3 friends this eve and as usual the food was great. Menu is filled with something for every taste and portions generous. Very busy as always when we have visited and the wait staff does not miss a step with service.

The service was spot on. They were very busy for Valentines Day. We were there after lunch about 1:00. The service was friendly and timely. The food was very good. We started with the mozzarella sticks. I'm sure they made their own.The breading was crispy and the cheese was nice and stringy. I had the broiled cod dinner with fries a New England clam chowder. The fish was flaky and cooked perfectly. The clam chowder was very good. All for $17. My sister had the bacon cheeseburger done medium. It was a beautiful pink in the morning dole and juicy and tender. I would definitely go back. Another table ordered the fried fish sandwich and it was hugh.
