Gourmet sandwiches and traditional Italian coffees. Gorgeous baked goods. Gourmet meats and cheeses, and a carefully-curated variety of wines... with lovely people, in a beautiful, sun-filled old house. Perfecto! Next time, heck with the diet. I'm getting the handcrafted cannoli and macarons.

This place is tucked away and you would never know it is there without looking up on GPS. We have visited twice now and once being during the holidays. It is located in an old house that has all the character, creeks and nooks. There is a huge wine selection, a cheese and meat area then a hot food and specialty sweets in the back. They only make so many of certain items but do take special orders and holds. Definitely a unique stop in wheeling

It's definitely worth the hour drive to shop at Good Mansion a few times a year. The selection of goodies is vast - reminds me of what I could purchase when I lived in a city. The wine selection is really good, though somewhat over-priced. This business is housed in a converted house and includes a deli in the back.

Let's talk about how unique this place is: it's beautiful! A hood house converted into a store and restaurant. So elated they had the bottle of wine I was searching for years to locate.

The best of the best. Coffee's are superb The food is very good & fresh excellent noodles from scratch .. tasty desserts . I love the atmosphere throughout. Beautiful deli & rooms of bottled imported fine wine. Mansion is a must experience! 10 stars

Kind of an eclectic place, in a good way. I'm totally baffled by the choice of location, but hey it is central to downtown and an easy off/on from the highway. In any event, we had our choice of six bespoke sandwiches, a quiche or soup de jour. Sandwiches served on fresh toothsome baguettes, with a side of olives and a mini biscotti cookie. Super high quality ingredients on the sandwiches. Nice selection of top end bottles of olive oil and Italian jarred specialty items for purchase. We were passing through so I didn't have time to browse the wine shop. Order your food at the back counter.

The food is amazing. The service incredible. The ambience is super unique. I go Hera at least twice a week !!!

Took a quick peek inside and what a beautiful building. Great set up with a great bakery in the back. The macarons are a bit pricey but they are wonderful. A very friendly staff available for answering questions about the business and the products. No wine tasting with COVID. Maybe we'll be back to get the full experience!!

Then what are you waiting for?Good Mansion Wines is one of the best things about Wheeling. This lovingly restored mansion is breathtakingly beautiful, just for a start. The wine selection is extraordinary (both in variety and sheer number), and you won't find anything close when it comes to the quality and quantity of imported goodies beloved by epicureans. I live on a pretty tight budget, but I also love GOOD food, so if I'm going to splurge anyway, the Prosciutto, croissants, or butter I can buy here is infinitely superior than what a local grocery store offers. For me, it's absolutely worth the extra cost. Food is one of life's great pleasures, amiright?The baked goods are made with French flour, and I swear you can taste the difference (the lack of glyphosates doesn't hurt, either). The cheeses, deli goods and OH MY GOD DID I MENTION THE FRENCH BUTTER?!

Wow! Wow! Wow!Driving East Coast to west coast, and happened to come across this on yelp. Would have never discovered that this was here without Yelp.Italian everything consumable. And nothing short of fantastic!
