Good L'Oven Cookie Shop

I don't understand the hype with these cookies. The cookie I had was just fine. I'm going to have to try to get a different kind next time to see if I just got the wrong thing.

I was in the area and took one look at the sign and said to myself I could use a cookie immediatly.The store is on the small size with no seating that I could see.The staff where very friendly and helpful and very attentive.The only real problem I had is that it is called the cookie shop and they had a terrible selection of cookies.I figured going in they would have 30-40 different kinds of cookies but they only had 6 at this time at least.I was there first thing in the morning so it was unlikely they where going to bring out any others.I ordered a chocolate chip cookie.It was only ok nothing special at all.I would not go back again.I give it 3 stars as the customer service was excellent which made up for the poor selection and just ok cookie.

Stopped for a quick snack on a Saturday afternoon. Cookie selection was still excellent and we tried 3 different flavors. The Pittsburgh Pothole was my favorite followed by the Cookie Brownie swirl. The dark chocolate pumpkin was good, but not my favorite. Prices were great too. $7 something for 3 giant cookies is the right price. Definitely coming back!

Detailed Review: Cookies! All of them were really good. We preferred the blueberry and the lemon over the Oreo but that was just preference. The Buck: 4.5/5Really good sandwich. Didn't get to mushy on the drive home. Figgy Piggy: 4/5 The texture of the bacon next to the jam and cheese was really nice. Overall, will definitely be back. The people working were super helpful and sweet! Can't wait to try more things on the menu!

The best cookies in Pittsburgh. The food is great too- I recommend the Buffalo chicken wrap. The staff is always friendly too!

First off, let me say that their cookies are my all time favorite. The perfect crunch to soft ratio, plus they're huge! They always have a variety of options so I always grab my fave, sugar M&M plus a new flavor each time. My girlfriend loves the Oatmeal Raisin. I love being able to try new combinations while enjoying my favorite in the same trip. And yes, I always eat them ALL the same day I buy them. No shame!Their breakfast and lunch sandwiches are also a great size for the price. Everything is made fresh when it's ordered. Calling ahead is probably quickest but I enjoyed checking out the local goods on the shelves throughout the shop. I was intrigued by the house made soups and local breads but already had my hands full of other items. I'm really glad to have found this spot shortly after moving to the neighborhood!

Wonderful cookie shop in Bellevue! I was given a $15 gift card from a friend, which was just enough for 9 cookies (1 for $2.25, 3 for $6, 6 for $11, 9 for $15, and 12 for $20). Some of the cookie flavors were "Steel City" (made with brownie, chocolate chip, caramel, and Krispy's; highly recommend!), peppermint hot cocoa, chocolate chip coconut, peanut butter, peanut butter chocolate chip, brownie, oatmeal raisin, chocolate chip, lemon, salted sea turtle, snickerdoodle, sugar sprinkle and M&M sugar. All the cookies were huge (bigger than the size of my palm!), crispy, and so delicious. Definitely stop by if you've got a sweet tooth like me!

Months ago, I visited the other location of Good L'Oven in Ross Township, which had terrific food and service, so I decided to try out their location in Bellevue. When I first arrived, I honestly felt disappointed that the restaurant looked small and unremodeled, and the selection of cookies in the display and soups in the refrigerator looked small. Then I noticed a menu near the door and read it: numerous sandwiches, salads, and wraps that are made to order! I ordered two items from the cook, and I convinced my husband to order two other items. We also picked out six cookies, a chocolate-covered peanut-butter pretzel, Twix-flavored popcorn, and a cat toy (yes!). Upon checkout, the two employees made very friendly conversation. Prices were reasonable, with sandwiches costing about $7-8 each. Here are my reviews for some foods:Cookies - 5 stars - I forget all of the flavors, but they included s'more, lemon chiffon, steel city crunch (brownie, chocolate chip dough, caramel, and cocoa crispies), and others. The cookies were a large size and tasted wonderful!Good 'Ol Grilled Cheese - 5 stars - The slices of bread were grilled French, and they were filled with American cheese, bacon, and tomato. The sandwich was a very large size, more like the size of two sandwiches. A grilled cheese sandwich seems to be simple, but it tasted so good and fresh.Autumn Apple Salad - 4.5 stars - This salad was a large size also, and it contained mixed greens, fresh apple chunks, pecans, blue cheese, bacon, and cranberries. My husband noticed that the employee cooked bacon right in front of him rather than use bacon that was cooked previously.Steel City sandwich and reuben sandwich - 4.5 stars - My husband ate these two sandwiches. They were a huge size, and he said that they tasted very good. He liked how they reminded him of lunch sandwiches that he ate at work in his pre-pandemic days.

Great big cookies. As all the reviews point out, the cookies are wonderful. Recently had the breakfast sandwich that is also very large and very good. Selected the cheese and meat and she asked if I wanted some roasted onions and peppers. Just say yes. A great big tasty sandwich at a very reasonable price.

Excellent, Excellent, Excellent, If you like HOMEMADE! you will love their food. Do yourself a favor and give it a try. You won't be sorry.
