Golden Dragon

First time here and will definitely be back. Great food. Friendly staff. Huge portions. Nice clean restaurant.

Golden Dragon is a 10/10. Szechuan chicken was tender and delicious with a generous portion of chicken and veggies.

This has become my go to Chinese place over the past few years. They do a great job and the food is really high quality. Hot and sour soup is my absolute favorite.

Hadn't been here in years, but to celebrate Chinese New Year in January, we decided to revisit. Now, let me just say that we have a Chinese restaurant in the neighborhood where we live, and one in the next town over. They've gone downhill; we don't even go to them anymore. This place is about a 15 min drive from our house. The extra miles is worth it. Here's why you should go:1. Clean - One of the absolute cleanest Chinese restaurants I've ever been in. Cool-looking faux alligator skin seats. Plus they have one of those kitschy waving cats on the counter. Not a big sitting area - one table for 2, two tables for 4, and another table for 6-8.2. Menu - The people I dined with noticed they have items on the menu that other local places don't. Lake Tung Ting Shrimp? Coconut Chicken? Are you kidding me?3. Prices - On par with other local restaurants.4. Staff - Easy going, pleasant, food came out quickly with all orders correct. We heard them laughing in the kitchen so you can tell they really enjoy what they're doing. Constant stream of takeout customers.5. Food - Really very, very good. Fried dumplings (#9) were very good (when you fight over the last one, something must be not wrong). I had the Orange Flavor Chicken (#C3 - pictured); very good. I'm not a "sweet meat" kinda guy, but this had little flecks of red pepper that spiced it up a bit. And get this - it had actual glazed orange rind in it to lend towards its orange flavor. Who does that (but in a good way)? We also had the General Tso's Chicken (#C1) - also very good. But the star dish of the night was Black Pepper Chicken (#89). It didn't come as a combo dinner, but you get two plates - one is edge-to-edge piled high with the chicken and green peppers, the other is a plate of white rice.The fried rice tasted, well,...different. Maybe this is the way it's supposed to taste. It was not laden with a lot of sodium. As for the egg rolls, I'm not sure which ones we got; I'm assuming chicken? But they were pretty much your standard egg roll.My only complaint was that the two large pieces of broccoli I was given were on the cold side.Would I go back? Absolutely! I will drive the extra miles to go to a place with good Chinese food.

Was truly skeptical at first to order from here but will have to say we were pleasantly surprised with the food from Golden Dragon! Not many choices for take out & we definitely order from here again!!!

I was so excited to have a Chinese restaurant right down the street when we first moved here. We have it a few chances at first at weren't impressed, so we stopped going. 4 years later we tried again and let me say -- KUDOS TO YOU, GOLDEN DRAGON!! They have REALLY improved!! I have had their General Tso, Hot and Spicy Chicken, Dragon and Phoenix, Sweet and Sour Chicken (all meals will fried rice), and egg rolls. Their egg rolls can be hit or miss and I don't really care for their sweet and sour sauce nor the shrimp in the Dragon and Phoenix. It would also be super awesome if they would deliver!! However, this is a nice place to go when we want a super quick bite and don't feel like cooking.

Very clean. Amazing food. Would recommend chicken with garlic sauce. Don't worry - Owners speak good English.

Use to be affordable, recently the prices have increased. Prices are now the cost of going to a steakhouse!

Delicious food!! Always taste good and there is a wide variety! My personal favorites are the seasame chicken, beef and broccoli, egg rolls, and fried rice. My favorite Chinese food around!

I'd have to say our meals from the restaurant are usually average. My husband and myself both had less than quality meals last night. The chicken was more hard gristle rather than meat. You know that part of the chicken leg that's not edible. Yep that stuff! Most of both meals hit the trash can. This isn't our usual experience at the restaurant but this experience will keep us from returning anytime soon.
