We stopped by Sunday afternoon on 12/22 for their holiday cocktails and some snacks! We were greeted by live music (which wasn't my vibe since there's a lot of hard surfaces inside so the acoustics weren't amazing but other people seemed to like it) and a small but mighty food menu. Their flammkuchen pizza in particular was delicious and we enjoyed the festive touches on their cocktails (all the ornaments you see are now in my mini-tree). Golden Age is an underrated chill spot to hang out with friends; I can't wait until it gets warmer so we can hang out in their outdoor beer garden again!

Very cute little German beer hall with space for the whole family. The food and drink were both excellent (we went back for more... twice). Staff was super helpful, lots of on street parking plus two city lots out back, and the bathrooms were very clean and well stocked. Can't wait to come back when the weather is better to dine outdoors!

Phone did not eat first here. The wood fired pizza is so delicious. My favorite is the margarita pizza! The crust is crunchy and the pizza isn't floppy. It's cooked just right! The beer here is great and they also have cocktails too

My husband & I stumbled upon Golden Age before seeing a show at the Carnegie Music Hall of Homestead. We arrived shortly before 7, and most of the seats were filled. Within 15 minutes, there was a line to the door to order food! They also have a fun outdoor patio with lights for the warmer months, and it looks like a super fun hang out spot. The service was impeccable and super quick. We arrived at 7 and had a show at 730, and we got our food quickly and was out the door at 730! They arr known for their German beer, but I didn't want to have a beer. They didn't have lemonade, but they made me a homemade lemonade that was super tasty! Unexpectedly, the Boilermaker Jazz Band was playing (like they do every Thursday night), and they were so good! It was a pleasant surprise to have a GOOD jazz band playing in a Brewery! My husband had the Pittsburgh Pannuozzo, which was basically an Italian sandwich on a pizza dough pita. I had the Doner Kebab, which had chicken, feta cheese, garlic sauce, lettuce, and onions on a pizza dough pita. We also shared fries with their homemade ranch! The food was delicious. The service was impeccable. The atmosphere was lovely. This is a great hidden gem in the heart of Homestead.

Didn't know this place existed until I was invited to a trivia night called Drew's Clues, but I've already decided this is one of my fave breweries in the city. It's big and spacious, the space is absolutely gorgeous and I can't wait to go back in the summer to sit out on that patio! Love the retro styling throughout. Beers are moderately priced, and love that they have wine and cocktails for those who would prefer something else. And food!! A brewery with food!! I tried the pizzuono and it was a little messy but delicious. The doner kebab looked great too. Would love to try some other things on the menu next time I'm back. Lots of good events here too. The trivia was excellent and I plan to come back for a jazz night sometime soon!

The beer was very good ! I had the Brew House Salad and it was just a salad but it was EXCELLENT!!!The only downfall was the service. We sat at the bar and the staff didn't seem to understand that when your glass is empty and it's near the bar edge a customer may want another beer!

Came here this past Sunday for the last Luau of the season. The food was good- $20 for a pork plate. The cocktails are good, I love Hidden Harbor so I liked that some of the same cocktails were here. The beer selection was disappointing. It was maybe 8 beers, a couple tasted similar, and there are no sours, nothing fruity, just all German style beers which I found rather disappointing for a big brewery. It was a fun vibe and a beautiful day outside. The outdoor seating was lacking. They could have easily put extra chairs outside for people to sit outside and enjoy the live music- since that was the main event. We had to wait at least 2 hours to get an outside seat. The place was also swarming with little kids and infants running around - inside the brewery and outside. I counted at least 7+, It's not very big outside so to allow dogs, kids, and have little seating is super strange. I understand people want to spend time with their kids on a Sunday. The main part of Golden Age is that it is a brewery. Maybe don't bring a 2 year old to a brewery and let them run wildI'm giving it another try when it's not the Luau- maybe Trivia. If it's the same experience I wouldn't be itching to go back anytime soon

Good food options. Counter service but very attentive and ready to answer questions. Nice large indoor seating area and outside sitting options with live DJ. Loved the wine slushy!

The inside and outside are really well done, especially given the location. Ample space and tables. Nice outdoor lighting with a stage.I ordered the Kolsch beer. It was crisp, light, and refreshing. The prices of the beers were on par.The food on the other hand, not so great. For a single smash burger, it was $12. I can go to a more well known restaurant such as Moonlit and get a double for only $10. The lettuce should be advertised as mixed green. I don't like the taste and bitterness on a burger.the burger flavor was just ok, nothing memorable.I'd come back again on a nice day for a drink but pass on the food.

I want to love this place, but after several visits I have decided it's not for me. The beer is fine--I especially like their Baltic porter. What disappoints me every time is the food. This trip I tried their seitan bites and a Mediterranean pizza with vegan cheese, onions , and mushrooms. The vegan bites were room temp and super chewy. I suspect they were sitting for a bit while the pizza was baking. The pizza was especially sad--the middle was liquified! The crust on the edge was perfect while the middle was a soupy mess. I'm not sure what happened there. If I go there again, I will eat before or after--the vegan fare is not worth it.
