GM Dog N' Burger Shoppe

Had to get a review in. Just walked in for lunch and found out this is their last week open. Hope it's just temporary. Such a cool spot to get an old school affordable burger.

Cheap food, chill atmosphere, and great service. I recommend this place. I would eat here more but my cholesterol is high :(I get breakfast prior to my day shifts and it's cheap!

This place is a writers dream. I honestly wanted to sit at the counter all day and just eavesdrop on the conversations of all the locals that came in and out. This place has been in business for 44 years, thats sayin something. And I loved that the owner felt comfortable enough to doze off right next to me. Lol.If you've been to a Waffle House, its the same concept...but faster. AND they have fresh milkshakes (which bring all the boys to the yard). Its tiny. It has two 1970's style tables and chairs and a wrap around counter.I had their special which was $7 and change with a tea. I really enjoyed the simplicity of it.

Fast, cheap, amazing little menu, real yinzers, it is right by the Millvale-Liberty intersection so plenty of characters abound.

I can't believe I have never come in here before. I literally walk by every single day. It's your average small diner. Just what you would expect and want a greasy spoon to be. I was so hungry that I stuffed myself silly. I'm sitting here literally trying to breathe and relax so I can make the five minute trek home. I'm not kidding you guys. I'm so mad at myself because I finished my food so quickly and it was then I realized I hadn't taken any pics. Oh well just an excuse to come back again. So I had two eggs scrambled with toast, homefries and ham. Comes with coffee but I substituted with tea. Under $5. Delish!

Drove around looking for breakfast and just stopped in to get egg whites. Not knocking this place but old school country cooking to me. Meaning didn't have my turkey or chicken sausage. Egg whites made the old way (crack and hold).. Chicken patty but fried only. Can't do that. Needed something before I hit the gym so I only ate the egg whites. Waiting on food. Staff Is nice. Thank you Miss Darlene for trying.

Looking for ambience, a tuxedo-wearing server and a flashy dining experience?Well, this ain't it. However, if you want a bite to eat that tastes great and pay prices I haven't seen since the 1990s, then stop in this corner shop! I've had breakfast and lunch there and left fully satisfied and dumbfounded on how little it cost me. I will make more appointments at West Penn just because of this shop. Shhhhh, dont tell my cardiologist.

Little shop you wouldn't even know was there. However great food and for the price you couldn't ask for any better, it's great. It literally doesn't get better. The staff seems family run, always the same nice people. I'm very picky with the companies I do reviews for but this one deserves my 5 Star review!!
