Ginger's Family Restaurant

Ginger's is a cozy place to go for a home cooked meal. I was there Friday with friends. I had the haddock dinner; it included a HUGE piece of fresh beer battered haddock, fresh cut fries, applesauce, and cole slaw. Wow! 15$! I'm sorry I didn't take a picture of it. The corner booth gave us plenty of room to sit and talk. Our waitress was attentive. There is plenty of seating, including a few tables outside. If you are in the Irvona/Coalport area this is the place to go.

My husband and I thought the place seemed charming. We arrived and waited by the door a couple of minutes. A waitress yells "Sit anywhere" so there were 2 tables open. A booth & large table. We make our way to the booth and "Dessie" and older waitress puts out places settings then says "Its reserved...you can't sit here!". My husband and I were floored. That reserved table sat empty for 30 min. My husband tried to talk to manager but she said that table is always reserved? Really?? Then why tell people "Sit Anywhere?" Really mad manners. Then as my husband is talking to the manager "Dessie" is giving me dirty looks! I won't be back!

Went for breakfast. Took awhile for waitress to notice us even though they weren't busy. Really wanted to like it but couldn't. Something tasted very off putting with my meal. Husband thought I was crazy until he tried my food. There was a strong chemical taste in my eggs and potatoes and I couldn't finish it. Gave it three stars cause the quantities were decent. My husband said his food was okay but but nothing special.

The mild wings are mmm mmm good!! I'm crazy impressed with the flavor! Totally grateful that they let me do All flats it's so hard to find somewhere that will! So thank you!Definitely delicious! You should try this at least!

We eat here probably 2-3 times a week, and have never been disappointed. Breakfasts are top notch, as are their daily lunch/dinner specials! Usually quick service and very friendly people. Also, their cheesecake is to die for. They make it fresh in house, and flavors vary weekly. If you find yourself here, stop in and enjoy hometown cooking made with love!

This used to be our favorite restaurant until tonight, we travel 30 minutes. The past 2 months it has went down hill, quality and quantity don't get what you order. There was 2 tables there tonigh and my family 6 spent $101 never got our wings so waitress said she would put them in togo box and the kitchen didn't see the order. The menu is wrong, the prices are way higher than what the menu says. My steak was flat as pancake and it was $17. I am not one to complain but to pay this kind of money should get a good meal. when I got home there was to be dozen of extra Crispy wings and we got roast beef sandwich with 2 tiny pieces of meat no gravy. Never again!!!!!!

Home style food with friendly service. Highly recommend the chipped beef gravy. Visited by many locals.

Simply a wonderful meal and service! Quaint small town family restaurant at its best! Portions were generous! Food was delicious! Service was friendly and fast ! If passing through, definitely stop here! Camping at Glendale...a must eat out and within 15 minute drive!

Great Blueberry Pancakes! Cakes and Pies, oh my! Plenty of off street parking on the side and back.

First time here and it was delicious! We had the hot turkey and roast beef sandwiches. There was a lot of food and the price was very reasonable. The menu was pretty big from breakfasts to lunch to dinner. Definitely worth the trip.
