Service was fast for take out! Penne pasta was delicious and plentiful for the price. I will be back!

Best white pizza around! When I was pregnant I went on a quest the best white pizza. I tried from all the different restaurants, pizza places, etc && this one was the absolute best! Also, if you're a fan of Chicago food, they have an Italian beef that is absolutely to die for && will make you think you're downtown Chicago! Only downside, the sandwich is only served like one day a week!! :-/

The meatball sandwich was good however next time I'll order a side of sauce. By the time I got home to devour my sandwich it could have used a bit more sauce. This is the second time I've ordered from here. They are fast and don't have to wait!

04/20/17 visit: I been eating here for a while. I have had their Meatball, Italian Roast Beef Sandwich and their pizza. my son loves their Pasta Dinner with is a great deal. You get lots of pasta, a big meatball and a roll. The roll is the most disappointing as it really not a roll but a sandwich bun, and it is very dry. but is a lot better when you dip it in the leftover sauce. it is the same roll on the Italian Roast Beef. Same thing the roll kills it.. However every so often the sandwich get alot of the roast beef juice and it is a lot better... So if you order any sandwiches make sure you tell them to really sauce them up.Now the roll doesn't make the food here bad.. I think if they change the roll I would give them a higher rating. But it is ok and I keep coming back here. The Pizza is not bad.. I had better but also I had worse. and it isnt bad. I wouldnt come here for the pizza. the Pasta what makes me coming back.

Italian roast beef is the best. Ordered carryout for get together and it was on the spot. Tender, juicy and full of flavor.

I KNOW IM NOT INSANE. THE PASTA SPECIALS CHANGE DEPENDING ON WHOS COOKING. THE PASTA WITH JUST THE PENNE NO OTHER NOODLE IS AMAZING. THE MEATBALL IS FIST SIZE AN AMAZING. BEST BEST BEST PAStA: JUST PENNE!!!Sauce : perfection no clumps chunks Meatballs : ARE SOME OF THE BEST IVE EVER HAD. KIDS ,Hubby!!! Huge round perfect meatballs. Juicy!!! HOWEVER!!! There have been numerous times I ordered an its TERRIBLE THE SAME PASTA SPECIAL!!!! a the 1st time I knew right off the gate it was different n My kids wouldn't eat it my husband. I didn't Either. Tossed it. PASTA: Penne & Rigatoni ? Wtf who does that !!! SAUCE: huge clumps of tomatoes not kid friendly or husband or me. Meatballs: misshaped,small, chewy terrible. this isn't me trying to be a karen. This is a honest review. I know for almost a fact there is 2 cooks an the way they tell one another apart is the MF RIGATONI SO SOME MIGHT LIke OPTION B. Great!! But when You ASK WHAT PASTA IS IT? An get told a bold face lie. I take my meatball buying very seriously I will sadly never take the risk. Clearly they don't care about consistency A just think ppl will never notice. Well I've talked to others an they alll said the same. They won't even risk it. Cause again. When asked politely You are told a lie

The food is fresh fast and delicious There sausage sandwiches are superior to the local competition.

Amazing little restaurant here. Love the roast beef and the weekly soup list. These guys know how to keep you coming back. Keep up the good work.

The food @ Gina's...AMAZING! I've been eating there for years and never had anything bad there! Everything is fresh and homemade, every one of their soups (especially the greens & beans), the meatballs & roast beef sandwiches, the salads and pizzas are delicious! Highly recommend!

The food is good but I called Wednesday to order meatballs and sausage to pick up Thursday night for my friend since her grandmother passed away and was told they didn't want to do a big order at the time. This is supposedly a time of crisis and support your local business......Im sure any other business at this time would be more than happy to accommodate an order like that and one did.......Capri. So I would recommend supporting Capri on University Blvd they want your business
