Cool spot in the Southside. I ordered two slices of cheese pizza with ranch for $9. Kinda pricey, but I blame the pandemic for that. Tasty pizza! The only inconvenience is that they don't take cards, cash only. I didn't wait too long for my pizza either, so that's always nice.

I had heard Gennaro's was the closest thing to authentic Chicago deep dish in Pittsburgh so I figured I would give it a try. I will say it is the closest thing to good Chicago deep dish, but still nowhere near the flavors that you get in Chicago. The crust would be my biggest complaint. It didn't have much of a taste to it. I was impressed with how crisp it was, despite the loads of cheese and sauce, both of which were very good.

I had the Chicago style deep dish pizza. This was not Chicago style deep dish pizza. It was a thick pizza. I wasted almost $40 on this and was sadly disappointed. Perhaps their regular pizza is better.

My guy & I used to order a pizza damn near every Friday. Sadly we moved, and are no longer in their 'delivery zone'. Uber Eats will deliver, but I'd rather give my money directly to them! We have never been disappointed with anything! Their pizza is amazing! Calzones, yum! Hoagies, yum! I have nothing but LOVE for them! Especially during the pandemic. I always wrote a note with my order, thanking them. They responded by writing a note on the inside of our pizza lid!

Ordered deep dish pizza but it wasn't what I expected. The cheese was under the sauce & the sauce was just a bunch of crushed tomatoes with a sprinkling of more cheese. I liked the gyro salad much more. I got it with a side of garlic bread. Both the salad & garlic bread were tasty & huge & I got two meals out of it. One thing I don't understand is why their online menus don't offer beverages, so if you order through DoorDash, Uber Eats or Grubhub, you have to pay extra to order beverages from another store. Their paper menu you get through the mail DOES include beverages, so if you don't want to order from another store, you have to call them & order the old-fashioned way.
