Stopped in for dinner last night. I love a good Japanese Hibachi. This place is super clean with a awesome ambiance. The service was perfect. Everything from the hostess, waitresses to the chef was great. I ordered filet and lobster. The chef went through his usual routine of entertaining the table. He was fun and did a great job. The rice and vegetables were fresh and well balanced seasoning. My filet was cooked to order which usually doesn't happen at a hibachi for whatever reason but kudos to the chef for getting it right. The filet was nice and tender but could have used more flavor. The lobster was cooked perfectly but also could have used more flavor. One think I noticed and it perturbs me. They have watered down the yum yum and ginger sauce. Especially the ginger sauce. Never a good idea to sacrifice your product to save money. Customer service is a five star. Food is average.

I'm a regular here and I can't recommend it enough. The clear target audience is parties and events, they deliver.Don't forget to come on your birthday, especially on your birthday.I would argue that their individual dining experience is critically underrated, try their regular menu.( My personal favorite is the Avocado Salad )Pros:- Excellent food and service - Easy Parking- Food quality is consistent - Lots of tasty options Cons- All items are not listed on the menu- Hours are finicky - Inside is consistently loud, even when not busy- Menu pricing can be inconsistent - Occasionally the Sushi offered can comes out limp or barely filled

This was an amazing experience the chef made our experience outstanding. My stepson first time at a hibachi was certainly one to remember. Even pranked him and played jokes on him!! We will DEFINITELY be returning!!

Hibachi is the perfect food, all the time, no matter what- don't bother trying to change my mind. Fusion is consistently on point and service is always excellent. Sushi is good too and my biggest recommendation would be to try to Sake (you're welcome, in advance)

Service was great. The show from the chef was excellent. The ambiance was beautiful and they put us in a back room so it was quieter. The soup and salad were delicious. One of the best dressings I've ever had! The scallops were perfectly cooked but that is it with the positives. I ordered the filet and shrimp with fried rice. If there wasn't sauce all over everything it would've been great, but the sauce overpowered the fried rice and made the filet and shrimp way too salty. What's the point of the finer and yum yum sauce if you're going to douse it with another sauce? Well unfortunately the main dish was such a disappointment that it brought everything else down to a 3 star rating. If I ever go again, I will request no sauce on anything. For my friends that ordered their steak medium rare...it was medium at best. Definitely not rare as everything was cut up to small pieces and cooked everything further. Cut the sauce next time please! Taste your own cooking!

An Asian restaurant with ketchup. Hell yea. Sign me up. The general Taos shrimp is 10 of 10. I'll go back anytime and will repeat this order

Went here to eat today at around 4:30-5:00...our server was very nice and I enjoyed the atmosphere. However, I ordered the hibachi salmon with vegetables and by the time I was in the car my stomach was really hurting BAD. My salmon was cooked either wrong or not long enough because I have been sick with food poisoning symptoms for an hour in my bathroom. Excellent service but watch out for the salmon

Whatever this is, it is decidedly NOT Japanese food. First off, there's a tacky torii at the front, which is an entrance to a Shinto shrine and is therefore of religious consequence. It's like having the entrance to your restaurant be in the shape of a cross. Second, the white receptionists are wearing some polyester bathrobe reimagined as a Japanese kimono. Katy Perry would have been proud. Third, the servers walk around sounding gongs occasionally. You don't do that in Jaoan either; gongs only are sounded in gagaku of the Heian period. In short, it's a cultural appropriator's field day.I might have been able to overlook this tackiness had the food actually been good. But evidently the cook has no idea what a sukiyaki is. It is NOT a soup. It's a skillet dish where you sauté beef, scallions, carrots, potatoes, and harusame. Their dish had no taste whatsoever. It tasted like something you might see in a jail prefectory.I realize that there are some hard working immigrants at this restaurant and all the power to them. But whatever white person owns this place really should do their homework. They have no idea what is Japanese, Korean, Chinese, or Thai. Their insignia is more commonly a Korean sign. There was no Korean food on the menu. This is precisely why it's so appalling that University of West Virginia is planning to shut down its entire foreign languages and literatures department. Clearly the region needs to be educated in foreign cultures, which are typically taught in a foreign language class.

I have never had a bad meal at the Fusion in the Highlands. Love the Hibachi. However, since they lost a lawsuit and have to pay back wages, fines etc at over $1.45 million dollars, I WILL NEVER GO BACK. The workers put out a great product, but i will not support owners who screw over their employees. An article about this can be found at www.theintelligencer.net
