Fujiyama Japanese Steakhouse

I was in the area visiting and figured I would try this spot out. I believe they are only doing take out at this point so I ordered online and picked it up. Overall a great value for your money for the lunch option. I ordered the pick two with soup. Tuna avocado with shrimp tempora. I would absolutely recommend coming here to grab lunch. Great value for your money. Nothing fancy just solid good food

Very good food, fish is very fresh. Highly recommend giving it a try. I wouldn't eat at the restaurant had a very bad odor. Not sure what I was smelling when I picked up my food. Sad because the food was good but the smell is enough to keep people away.

Food was great... no complaints. But here are a few things we didn't like:1. Minors- (as in like 5, 8, 11-ish) serving food to tables. We actually witnessed the youngest spilling a bowl of rice on one patron. These said kids were seen playing with toys and then serving tables.... health concern? 2. Service - they only seemed to have one other "waitress" on duty (Friday night).... and she was not old enough to serve alcohol so we had to wait for someone else to bring adult beverages to the table. 3. Minors/Service - the middle child (guessing about 8) came to the table to refill our water cups and grabbed them with his fingers INSIDE the glasses. That was after waiting too long for water refills (hello soy sauce). Again, food was great... hence bringing it up to 2 stars.

Large menu and lunch specials. The sushi and hibachi dinners are always delicious. The inside needs remodeled desperately. Last time we dined in the booths sagged and the decor looked very old.

It seems to have gone downhill since we were first here in 2016. It's like they just don't care. Service was good, however my husband said it smelled of stale cigarettes as if the staff smoked inside when there weren't customers. I won't tell you what my husband said regarding his miso soup. Suffice it to say, it wasn't good.Of major concern was the fact that our sushi was almost room temperature. That is a serious health concern when serving raw fish!The glass of wine my husband was served tasted like it had oxidized. It was not worth the drive from Bridgeport. Perhaps their hibachi and cooked food is better, but we'll never find out.

Everything there was delicious. Best Japanese place ever. I have read that the service sucks but I can give it to them because they did come here from a different country and are trying to make a living. It must be difficult for them to understand English. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Only japanese place in fairmont so its better than going to Morgantown. Usually get the hibachi meals which are good, it's your standard japanese hibachi with great shrimp/yum yum/white sauce as well, make sure you ask for extra if you get the food to go

Best sushi I've ever had in my life!!! I don't understand why people complain about the price so much. It's really pricey but it's worth every dollar! The double delicious roll is to die for!!! 10/10 sushi spot. A must try for any and all sushi lovers!!

Had been missing Sushi during the pandemic, son and I ordered several rolls that hit the spot. I recommend the Crab Rangoon as well.

Open for dine in and is also now on doordash!!! Great choice if you want to support a local family owned business! The family is very kind and the staff go above and beyond. Very convenient to have a sushi and hibachi place in town! The food is always excellent! Seems they don't have a lot of dine in business since the pandemic, which is a shame. They also seem short staffed compared to before COVID-19. Definitely a business that deserves your support!
