We stopped by for karaoke night on a Friday last month and to try their holiday cocktails. Unfortunately, they were closed for a private event so we had to come back. The holiday cocktails themselves were pretty good. It was pretty crowded so it was tough to get a drink but we managed. Froggy's is very much so a bar that's on the dive side and it doesn't try to pretend otherwise. I personally would not come back for their normal drink offerings but would come back if I'm feeling rowdy on a Friday night and want to do karaoke then.

Nice little "dive" bar in Bloomfield! We popped in while waiting for a table at Fet-Fisk. It wasn't very busy when we went, but I'm not surprised given it was a Thursday and the day after Christmas. They have a lot of good drink specials, and I definitely will be back for a trivia night - they had trivia going while we were there, and it was nice to actually know a lot of the answers for once (soo many trivias that I've been to ask obscure questions that are before this millennial's frame of reference lol so it was nice to have one based on current events and culture)

I love froggy's! It's your typical dive bar. They have a good selection of beers on tap, service is fast & friendly, & they have several TVs for watching sports games. They also have a dart board in the back and large tables good for a group. I wish they served food, but they let you bring your own food in if you order drinks which is cool.Food: N/ADrinks: BService: B+Ambiance: C+

Typical dive bar but with great karaoke on Friday evenings. Great and quick service. Fairly priced drinks.

The former Pollack's under new ownership/management and also undergoing massive renovations. They're open during construction and it already feels so clean and fresh; hoping it stays that way and will be non-smoking.The new drinks, pours, specials along with the remodel seem to be taking it from a smoke-filled old time dive bar to something new and modern. Here's to good things continuing at that spot.$5 Moscow Mule is pretty tasty.

We stopped in the night before Thanksgiving to check out the spot. We've seen it's transformation in progeess over the summer and finally stopped in, so glad we did! There are 12 beers on tap, good local craft options. The bartender gave me a sample to help decide and the prices are very reasonable. I had a Dogfish Head Pumpkin and Great Lakes Eliot Ness, both of which were $5. Hubs and I were hungry and noticed they had a menu of hoagies and pizza along with appetizers. We settled on a medium BLT pizza. Turns out the food is from Pizza Italia down the streer and it's the same menu, no surcharge or anything. The pizza arrives and the staff gets us paper plates and napkins and even finds us a box for leftovers. It's a good spot, definitely a neighborhood crowd mixed in with others interested to see what the bar is about. It's a fun and relaxing vibe. All the staff are helpful and chill. Mike, the owner, was hanging out and working that night and was very helpful. Tip: they accept card, but food is currently cash only.

I'm a big fan of Froggy's Bar. I've been to this place more than a few times, and get the same thing. Attentive service, well made drinks, and laughs from my fellow bar attendees. It's a prettty diverse crowd ranging from the Google workers to Social workers who all work hard and play hard. The draft list is extensive so it's the ideal place to get a cold one after work. The weekend crowd gets a little ramped up, but it's all in good fun. I've only ever had drinks so I'll be sure to update whenever I get around to eating. Heard good things though.

Nondescript dive bar with cheap drinks and personable staff. If you're not terrifyingly ugly, aggressive, or awkward the daytime bartenders might show you a ton of positive attention in hopes of higher tips. As to the bar itself, it's not an establishment you'd go out of your way to seek out if you're looking for any kind of unique or original experience, because, to be frank, uniqueness and originality are not exactly this bar's forte. Very no-frills: there's not much that's visually memorable about this place aside from the "Froggy" mascot, and there's equally little that's all that memorable about its usual clientele - you won't get much out of this place socially unless you are a Standard-Issue Citizen and dress/look the part: that's not to say that people off the beaten track are unwelcome here, but you're also not very likely to find them at this particular venue. That said, this bar is worth a visit in the event that you are located nearby and need a cheap, simple draft or cocktail without the flourishes offered up by this business's more (respectively) hip, upscale, or artsy neighbors (Many of which can be described as "that place with the _______", fill in the blank with your own choice of distinctive feature). Since it's a small bar it sometimes gets overly packed, making it difficult to angle for bar seating - if you want to go to this business, choose some time relatively slow and quiet. Main advantage of this bar is that it's open early so if you want to day drink on the rare quiet holiday or weekend afternoon the Frog will be happy to welcome you to its home.

Dive meets hipster bar, but with hipster prices. The beers are about what you would expect, but my well drink was over seven dollars. I thought I could avoid the Lawrenceville prices by avoiding the cocktail menu, but it was the same as some of the cocktails. Plus some dude tried to fight my boyfriend for ordering a drink too close to him at the bar, so there's that. Toxic masculinity aside, it's a fine bar but the prices are too high for what it is.

Wanted to watch a game so called ahead and asked if they had it. They assured me they would have it on for me (even though it was not a local game) and could not have been more accommodating. Drink prices were great with a good beer selection to back it up. Staff was friendly and attentive. Would recommend this spot to anyone in Bloomfield wanting to hang out or watch a game.
