Not sure why this cow stepped in his water bowl and peed just outside of it, but, hey, my family is still laughing about it.

Notice the line of people behind us. That was a line for just a small sample from Wigel.
At the Freedom Farms Farmers Market, conveniently located on Rt. 8 near Wexford, we supply fresh produce and meats straight from the farm.

Freedom Farms is an absolutely fantastic place to visit during their fall festival. They are affordable ($10 bucks a ticket included everything; small pumpkins were only $5 for 2), have tons of vendors (plenty of booze :)), and lots of family fun. Don't drive to the more expensive places, go here. Super nice, convenient, fun, family friendly, and plan on running into someone you haven't seen in a bit - happens to my family every year. This place is my fall festival jam, and I won't go anywhere else.

We have been fans of the farm from attending several events. Those events that we attended were great. We decided to check out the farmers market this time. We weren't sure if the market opened at 9 or 9:30. We figured we would just check when we got there. We arrived at 9:15 AM and the front main door was open, and all the lights were on and there were workers inside. So, we figured the market was "open". So, we shopped and gathered some items and while checking out, the cashier enlightened us of several stories of how the market wasn't open until 9:30 AM and many arrive before then and begin shopping & asking questions. The whole experience at the checkout was just so unwelcoming during our first trip to the market. We weren't the only customers in the market at that time. I couldn't help but wonder why not just unlock the front main door entrance when you're "open" for business? It's obviously an issue for the cashier. The prices for everything were a bit expensive for a farmers' market.

This is a review based on pie, but judging from their assortment of cut meat, produce and other items I would likely come back to try something else.We bought a cherry crumb pie and baked it according to the instructions. The cherries were tart and refreshing but the pie never set, the crust wouldn't release from the foil pan and the crumb coating was a horrible texture. I wouldn't buy it again, and sadly think I will avoid other pie varieties as well.I'll give them another try for some of their other items.

This review is based on Freedom Farms events at their farm. They've become increasingly worse and worse to the point that I will never go there again. The most recent and final event I've attended at freedom farms was:Spirits, Cheers, and Beers event at Freedom Farms on Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 4-8PM.A $35 per person ticket boasted the inclusion of the following:Drinking GlassT-ShirtA 4oz sample of alcohol from each vendorBonfire Live Music That sounds pretty cool, right? That's what I thought until I got there. We arrived the minute that they opened at 4:00 p.m. and it was already starting to get crowded. By around 5:00 p.m. it was so uncomfortably packed with people. That free 4 oz sample of alcohol from each vendor was usually less alcohol than that (an ounce or two) and we had to wait in each line for around 45 minutes to get our tiny samples. It was so loud, crowded, and boring to spend the entire time waiting in lines that I think we only got two or three samples. It was not even remotely worth it. We left early, entirely sober, and disappointed. There was alcohol for sale at the event but it was insanely overpriced. The one plastic cup of hot apple cider with a dash of whiskey was $10. I bought a six pack and a four pack of beer from another vendor and that cost me over $30. Freedom Farms must have made money hand over fist from this event while giving out very little to the customers. For $35 I ended up with a cheap t-shirt and a glass. That's it. As far as entertainment was concerned there was next to nothing there. So what they had one bonfire? Big deal. There was a live band that started late. They were a good band, so I'll give them that. Even though they were a good band, I'd rather not have one at all when they're so loud that you have to yell to have a conversation with someone beside you.Freedom Farms also had some food for sale that was so so at best. They had items for sale such as chicken tenders, fries, nachos I think, and stuff like that. By the time we purchased the food and got back to our table, the food was cold.Imagine going to an event and doing absolutely nothing except for waiting in very long lines for a tiny bit of alcohol. Never again, folks. Never again.

We went to the Freedom Farms fall festival in Valencia and it was incredible! $10 admission gets you access to the hayride, corn maze, hay tower, corn pit, animal barns, flower picking and more! There were fresh Amish donuts, a coffee truck, a truck selling ice cream and an area that had wine, moonshine and beer vendors. The on-site concessions had quality food, too -- my pulled pork sandwich with fresh coleslaw was huge, my fiancé loved his burger and the kids' chicken tenders were way above average. There's hot cider for sale, vendors selling clothes, kettle corn and other goodies inside the main barn and the barn where the concessions are had a little market set up with pumpkins, jams, apples and some fresh meats and cheeses for sale! I definitely want to visit their restaurant and farmer's market in Butler soon!

Ridiculous Prices. More expensive than shopping at that "Whole Paycheck" place. What's sad is that in many instances, the quality isn't there either. While they have some fancier stuff and a big selection, it just isn't worth to buy the basics here. I'm just not going to pay $2 bucks for a beat up, wrinkled cucumber or $12 for a loaf of bread...

I got two chicken pot pies for family (four) plus fresh vegetables to make a salad. Oh yeah, and cookies. Mom was all "that's way too much food for dinner!"I suggested keeping the second pie for lunch. Also my mom and family: devouring the second pie for "seconds."So yeah, it was delicious. Good thing I forgot the peach pie in the trunk where it's chilling in the PA winter. N

Friendly people, great service, unique products. We always trust freedom Farms to fill our freezers with farm grow beef pork and chicken. Seasonal produce is always delicious. They also have a great variety of fermented foods, jams and jellies, jarred goods, locally roasted coffee, sweet treats and honey. The new market is spacious and clean, its a joy to shop there.
