3pm on a Friday. Just got off work and I'm craving good pizza. I got white pizza with pepperoni and the smell of it alone had me mesmerized. The service is what has me writing this review though. It was down pouring outside and there's no room to sit in the shop so the owner asked if I'd like to wait in my car and he'd bring it out to me. I said sure and sure enough 15 minutes later, it was hand delivered. And the pizza is fabulous!!! Highly recommend for good pizza and good service!

For the past 10+ years this has been my ONLY go to pizza establishment and I have plenty of other pizza joints to choose from. It's a cozy mom and pop place. They make one size "smallish" sized pies (slightly larger than a personal pizza) so ordering 2 for 2 people suffices with usually a couple of left over pieces for lunch the next day. As their name suggests it is a wood fired pizza oven that takes centre stage in the shop. I love their margherita with sausage and pizza Bianca. They do excellent hoagies and have anti pasta/deli items and wedding soup. They also bake their own bread which is excellent. John and Linda are behind this family run business so ditch the chain pizza stores and give them a try. Pick up only and cash only. Yum!

This is very high quality homemade pizza. I got the margherita pizza and also tried two slices of the marinara pizza. The marinara is quite a basic pizza, simple yet tasty. It is made of simply cheese and tomato sauce.My margherita pizza was awesome! It is around 12" which is enough for 1-2 people. It's similar to a Neapolitan style pie, but a little bit thicker. The dough is pretty soft, not too crispy, but also had a nice char on the bottom. You can see the man making the pizza in the tiny restaurant, so you know it's made by hand! Margherita also had basil, nice chunks of mozzarella, tomato chunks (whole tomatoes!) and some sort of spice which was pretty unique. And the price was only $11.I did try to order their raisin bread along with my pie, but they were out of it. However, I would try it the next time I visit.The downside is that they don't deliver and it's cash only. But, this place is worth the drive if you live locally. It's a nice home style pizza place serving pretty cheap Neapolitan-esque pizzas.

Good value for the price. Good service. Sometimes the crust is too charred to my taste. Overall the pizza is good. Small venue so I usually take out my order.

This is our go-to pizza place. It's small outside and in, with the wood-burning oven taking up much of the room in the kitchen. Every time we've been there, we meet people who have moved out of the area but still stop by when they are back in town so they can get their fix for hoagies, pizza, salads, pasta and sauce, and bread.The menu is limited to a few select hoagies, pizzas and salads, but everything is exceptional. The hoagies are HUGE--we easily get two or three meals out of a Deluxe. They have a lot of salads they sell in pints and quarts--don't go hungry or you'll leave with a few!They also have Italian ices--honeydew!--which are a really nice, and tasty, way of killing time while you're waiting for your food. They have a couple tables with chairs outside so you don't need to sit in your car while you wait. And the staff--they are so very lovely, welcoming their regulars by name, even those who moved away but come back.Call ahead to put your order in, and be sure to hit an ATM on the way as they are a cash-only business. Buon appetito!

Delish, so very good! We are from NY so we've struggled with finding a good pizzeria. Frankstown Wood Fired Pizza is a little slice of Italian heaven. My hubby would eat there every day, 3 times, if we could afford it! Every single one of their pizzas are amazing, every single time. Their meatballs are to freaking DIE FOR! The best thing about Frankstown Pizza besides their mouthwatering food, are the owners. We always feel like welcomed family/friends when we come to pick up, she even remembers our regular order. We def recommend this little slice of heaven!

There isn't better pizza ... this is real pizza not like normal pizza u get from your local pizza shop with canned sauce and crappy cheese.. Simple fresh ingredients and not over loaded just like u get in Italy ...
