Had such an amazing experience here!! There was live music playing in the most beautiful backyard pavilion! Had such great energy! This location does not not have food, but you can bring your own in. There's a restaurant called Allegheny Grill across the street, along with a pizza shop if you plan to eat. Service was absolutely fantastic as well, everybody was so passionate about their wines, and also making sure you found the perfect glass. I will say, the wine was not the best I've ever had. Most of them seem to run on the sweet side, but that's not to say that might be someone else's taste! I tried the Riverstone red, and it was pretty good, but I think the trick is to get their fruit wines, their pear wine was delicious, it was like dessert! I will absolutely be back here, many times over! The wine is just OK, but the experience is top-notch!

After taking a stroll on the Allegheny River Trail, we decided to visit Foxburg Wine Cellars. They have a cute gift shop that sells wine openers, bottle stoppers, wine racks, wine bottle and glass holders, Steelers and Penguins decor, wine and grapes jewelry, snacks, local jams, skincare, aprons, and other home decors.During the COVID-19 pandemic, they do not offer wine tasting. You may only purchase $8 wine slushie and/or bottles of wine to enjoy on their socially distanced patio or take home to enjoy in the comfort of your own home. They had two wine slushie flavors - lime and coconut. We purchased a bottle of semi dry wine called Aurore. It was light and smooth but a little too sweet for us. In addition to the wine, I ordered a lime and coconut swirl wine slushie. The lime wine slushie consisted of their Chardonnay blended with lime mix and ice. Their Chardonnay was dry, crisp, and clean. The coconut wine slushie consisted of their Seyval blended with coconut mix and ice. Their Seyval had a distinctive taste and bouquet. Mixed together creates a sweet, tart, and refreshing frozen alcoholic beverage.

We traveled here on the day before the snow storm ripping through the area. We call this the "wine before the storm". This place had a large selection of wines from dry, semi-dry, sweet, and port wines that had a nice taste of brandy. All of the wines that we tried were very good. The Cab was really smooth. They have a special if you purchase 6 bottles, then a 7th one is $3. They take your most expensive bottle and charge you $3 for that bottle. The lady that waited on us was very nice and helpful. Told us to look around in which everything was cut. I will come back. This place is in a nice location. A nice place across the street is the Allegheny Grille and a hotel across the street from the winery. Very cute place.

I am not a wine connoisseur or claim to be an expert, just a person, who loves wine tasting, drinking and blogging about wine. I travel to wineries and enjoy attending wine tastings and festivals and I purchase wine on a monthly bases. I was very disappointed. It may be my fault in a way as well, for not calling ahead or making sure that the winery was as advertized. The winery was closed for the season and wine tasting wasn't available. The women at the counter didn't seem interested in helping or accommodating us at all. She seemed more involved with her cell phone conversation, then any potential customer that day. I won't return, unless a special occasion would bring me back. If it wasn't for the wine package we purchased at the Inn across the street, I wouldn't have had a bottle from this winery. I admit, the Niagara wine in the basket was very good.

Awesome experience here!! We visited the winery on a Sunday. The place was packed & the entertainment was easy on the ears. The guests were friendly. Maybe the wine helped with this . We sampled a variety of wines & opted for two bottles of their dry wine, Dry River Red & their Foch. Both packed a punch. The winery is located in a very quaint little village. When I return, I plan to visit the surrounding stores.

Very nice place along the Allegheny River with good wine, good customer service and a nice setup out back to drink your wine. Right across from there are nice places to stay and eat.

I've always enjoyed the variety of wines provided by this winery. We had to stop in when we were passing through. The staff was very friendly and their recommendations were excellent. Regular prices are very reasonable and when they have case specials it even a better deal. The wines are great with a special meal or event. Great to have on had when visiting with friends and makes a good selection for a wine gift basket especially with the holiday season coming up. Definitely worth stopping by.

The wife and I go there all the time. Great wines. It is about a hour drive north for us. It is a nice ride " in the country" for us. I heard about it at the local Harley Davidson dealership. No food but there is a restaurant and hotel across the parking lot. The wines are a good mixture if types and they have something for everyone's tastes.
