Good ole fashioned diner here. I popped in on Election Day and the place was hoppin. The owner immediately welcomed me in and offered a free seat at the counter (I was dining solo). The servers were dashing about, but it didn't take too long for one to take my order. Despite the frantic pace, she was super friendly and seemed to be well known by many there. The only problem I had came with the timing of my order. I ordered a grilled chicken salad and waited more than a half hour for it. But it was easy to see and hear why. The kitchen was super overwhelmed. The owner - talking to nearby diners - was talking about a fryer being super-bogged down by all the fries people were ordering. He was also surprised by the uptick in business and was needing to order more. Anywho - the food was good when it arrived. The balsamic vinaigrette seemed homemade and was tasty. The greens were pretty basic but fresh. The nearby burgers looked quite good, as did the case chock full of pastries and donuts that greet you right when you walk in the door! It had been pillaged, but the remaining goodies looked tasty. Ambiance is full on noisy "diner." Definitely will return.

Updated review: still good! Brought the family here the week after Christmas so I didn't have to cook a big breakfast before everyone left. My MIL didn't believe me when I reassured her that it would only take half an hour, so they would be able to hit the road in good time. To her credit, she apologized for doubting me. The 6-egg omelet entree comes with toast and home fries, so despite splitting it, I now have potatoes to go with another meal. The Western breakfast sandwiches were a big hit and nearly consumed in their entirety, despite being thick on Texas toast. The only real disappointment was lack of fruit to go on the Belgian waffle, which was pronounced "better than the French toast." Although the website said something about going to cash only, the ATM was covered, and they took our card.

It's a little out of the way from other Waterfront breakfast eateries, but well worth the 5 minute drive from the shopping area. Parking is along the street and free. We walked in at 10 am Saturday morning and was offered a seat at the counter or at a separate dining room in the back. We mistakenly chose the separate dining area. Service was immediate, We had looked at the menu on line before we arrived and ordered a meal with our drinks. We had one of their 6 egg omelette and a Western sandwich. Both were excellent with sides ofpotatoes and hash browns and toast with the omelette. Total cost with one glass of milk was less than $30.Back to the comment about the seating. By not sitting at the counter we missed a lot of conversations among other diners that sounded very interesting, even in the few seconds of checking out (paying in cash only). Next time I'll do better with that. I'll be back. Great example of a neighborhood diner

This is truly a hidden gem ! The server's are friendly it's as you have stepped back in time to a delightful and delicious meal! The food is cooked to perfection no slimy or burnt eggs the bacon is crisp if as I do like it that way if you want it another way I am sure the family staff will cook to order. The bacon also doesn't have that weird aftertaste that a lot of places even the high end places have it is just good period.Te French toast is HUGE you will either be stuffed or have a nice snack or breakfast for the following day !Prices are more than reasonable Thanks for an amazing meal and service !!!

Of all the breakfast places I eat at this is the best. Very flavorful with big portions. I get the ham and cheese omelette w/potatoes and toast. Very good! The blueberry pancakes are awesome. Ice tea fresh brewed too. The staff is more like good friends.I'm soooo spoiled by this place it's hard to go anywhere else for breakfast.

Great little diner. The menu was small but had what I was looking for, open faced sandwiches. I got the hot beef and it was very good. The gravy was tasty and the bread they used was an upgrade to what you normally get. The beef was tender. I thought the portion could have been larger, but I would definitely come back when in the area.

Service was good. However I ordered an omelette "Build Your own" It was a feta spinach omelette when it came it was dry overcooked and rubbery. The waitress was nice and very friendly this why you get three stars we were there on a Saturday also the Orange Juice was sour. What was good was the home fries and the coffee.

Have now visited three times to the new Fox's Diner (the old Falce's). They maintained a lot of what made Falce's great, and brought their own flare and updates to the place. They are currently still working on the insides, and it's going to be very cute when they're done!As far as the food goes, i've tried their Club, Reuben, A1 Bacon Burger, and my kids have tried the sliders and chicken tenders. All were awesome, and i'd recommend to anyone! Quality meats and ingredients are evident, and they've all been prepared well, and properly. Another thing i'll point out is their home made soups. They are to die for--excellent! TRY THEM!Good service, too, and the people have all been pleasant. Definitely look forward to trying many of their specials and great items!

I drive all the way from the south side to get their BLT. You cannot beat their prices. It's literally better price than going to the grocery store. Everyone wears tie-dye. It's fun and vintage inside. The seasonal decorations make you feel like you're right at home among family and friends. We went in during the Christmas season and the decorations are so cute and on point. They made lifelong customers out of myself and my girlfriend!

Came across this restaurant yesterday when I was near the Waterfront looking for a breakfast spot. It's located in the heart of the small business district of Munhall that is partly residential as well as commercial. What a hidden gem it was. As you walk towards the front door you'll see the sign " cash only". That's a good sign to me that it is old school and get ready for a legit home cooked meal. I was greeted by Kaitlyn(server) who said grab a seat anywhere, so a bar seat it was. I ordered the Fox's Meat Special(bacon, home fries, eggs and toast). Sounds basic but it was hands down the best breakfast I've ever had in Pittsburgh and believe me I've eaten at quite a few breakfast spots. During my breakfast I've also was checked on and had conversations with Beverly(coworker) and Terri(manager). Terri highly recommended that I try to the hot sausage with my breakfast next time. She also is one of the cooks too along with running the restaurant! Daily all homemade special too. Lastly, they have homemade donuts that are next level. I had one to go, cake donut covered in a brown sugar glaze!! Thank you Kaitlyn, Beverly and Terri for your top tier hospitality and food!!! Sees y'all soon!!
