Four and Twenty Bakery

This small bakery is a great place to grab a quick breakfast or lunch or a sweet treat. Operated by the proprietors, it has a true hometown aura. The treats are tempting and the savory pastries make good lunch options. The Spinach and Ricotta pastry is great, and the cinnamon coffee cake and bananas foster muffins are wonderful. The service is excellent and the prices are more than fair. There's no place to eat inside but you can take your goodies for a block-and-a-half walk over to the IRMC block where you'll find several picnic tables. It's a relaxing experience on a nice day!

I was excited for this bakery to open! I tried the mini blueberry cheesecake (pictured) which was a total treat! I'm a sucker for cheesecake & I was not disappointed. I also bought a lemon sugar cookie. I love when a lemon flavored item, actually tastes like lemon! I wish I had bought more. Also pictured is a slice from a Drunken Cherry Pie. I savored every bite of my slice. I absolutely recommend checking this bakery out! The staff / owners are very kind and looked so happy to be there. I will definitely be back!
