Fort Allen Frosty Shack

Love this place! Small little treat stand serving the Greensburg area. Prices are inexpensive. Love the chocolate dipped vanilla ice ream cones, YUM! The hubbs highly recommends the milkshakes. Just walk up to place your order at the counter and in just a few short minutes it's ready at the window. There are some picnic tables to enjoy your cone before heading home. This place gets pretty crowded in the evening.

I have been coming here since I was a kid. I would beg my parents to drive me to get ice cream every day from here. The workers are sweet and kind. There are reviews about how they can get cheaper ice cream faster from other places but they list ice cream chains and other food chains like brewers and McDonald's but the difference is noticeable in the care put in the frosty shack ice cream cause it's a small shack as the name implies and it's open only in summer it's a pivotal part of growing up around this area. I've lived here my whole life and the frosty shack has always been my favorite ice cream place. They aren't big or have indoor seating there is picknic tables outside but I still have every tiny hat bowl from my childhood and whenever they have the tiny hat sundaes you bet I'll drive any distance to add to my collection of hats and delicious ice cream and find memories

This place is the cool and so cute! They have the best peanut butter milkshakes! Would recommend to anyone!

This is one of those old fashion soft serve ice cream places that is only open in the summer and only has an outside, the inside is for employees only. There are random signs up all over the building about what you can order. Really reminds me of my childhood since almost all ice cream places were like that. The quality of the ice cream was quite good. I tried pumpkin since it was one of their weekly special flavors. I had it in a small cone with sprinkles. While it was good, I felt that the small was much too much ice cream. I would have been happier with something smaller.I will go back for sure next time I'm around to try something new.

This is the worst ice cream experience ever. Not only is ice cream weak. They obviously don't know what chocolate is either. I ordered a German chocolate flurry and got a vanilla something or other. I asked if they could add some chocolate to it and they obliged to my chagrin it was still a vanilla something or other! I'll never waste my time or money again. Bryers. Puts them to shame and I don't have to wait in line!

I've been to the Frosty Shack 3 times - including twice in the past week. I heard about the black raspberry ice cream and had to stop by and try it. Wow. It changed my life! You can tell this is the kind of small-town ice cream shack that all the locals have enjoyed for years. Folks like myself are just now discovering the awesomeness that exists here.Both times I've gone, I've only gotten ice cream cones. I won't complain, because I've had some of the best cones ever at Frosty Shack.Super great value, too.... under $3 for a medium cone. Sign me up.

Bonzo runs a great shop. He Always has a kind word and they have reasonable prices. Way better than DQ

Waited for service while while an older man sat in a back room just looking at us until someone else emerged to wait on us. We ordered two hot fudge sundaes and were given chocolate syrup instead. We could have purchased the same sundae for .99 at McDonalds and received the same thing.
