Fenoglietto's made us our dream chocolate-chocolate wedding cake! It looked exactly like the Pinterest picture we gave them and was delicious.

My husband and I just unfroze our wedding cake after a year and a half (long story) and it was just as delicious as our wedding day! They did such an excellent job the day of as well. Delicious cakes from a great family business for a competitive price.

My fiance and I were to meet with someone from Fenoglietto's at 1pm. We got there 5 minutes early, knocked on the door and no one answered. We tried calling. No one answered. I emailed them. No answer. We wait until 1:20pm and finally someone showed up, the baker himself. When he got there, the vibe my fiance and I both got from him was that we were disrupting his day. Then he made the comment that he usually doesn't schedule tastings for Fridays but since we were coming in from out of town, he made an exception. That made us feel like we were being guilt tripped into being a disruption to him. The whole time we met with him, it was rather cold and felt like we were being sort of rushed. He also didn't offer any advice or suggestion or even try to sell his product. It was basically "Here's my cake. I know it's good." Disappointing. The cake was really good but I didn't feel like he cared. In my opinion, Pittsburgh has plenty of great bakeries that I'd rather give my money to. I give this 2 stars only because the cake is really delicious but the attitude went a long way to destroy it.

My fiance and I corresponded with Leanne regarding tasting cake for our wedding. I was informed of the times that tastings were offered, and I emailed back when we would be available. I didn't hear back from Leanne, so naturally, I assumed we were good for that particular time. On the day that we had scheduled, my fiance and I made an hour and a half drive, only to discover that no one was at the building. We had not been informed of this or anything. I don't know if the cake would have been good or not. It was a ridiculous inconvenience for us. When I emailed the bakery to let them know what had happened, all they could offer us was a free filling. No thanks.
