The whole experience was great! Had the brisket and pulled pork with Cole slaw and baked beans. It was absolutely delicious! I'd recommend getting all 3 of their sauces- so good and the variety was amazing. We will definitely return!

3 - Good choice if you're in the area. Skip to the end to see my rating scale.Been wanting to stop at Fat Eddy's for a few years now as I'm a regular in the Grove City area. They have a few craft beers on tap, but most were from breweries with a national presence like Great Lakes and Sam Adams. I would have liked to have the ability to try stuff from some of the breweries local to the area like Big Rail or North Country, but that wasn't in the cards when we were there. Our waitress was friendly and attentive although not super knowledgeable on the product. We were happy with her service. The interior seems like it wants to be on the trendy/industrial side, but came across to me as though there were some corners cut, like the booths came from an old family restaurant at some point. Finally, I was hoping that the food would pull the overall experience up, but it didn't. I suppose it's pretty good if you don't BBQ yourself, but I was hoping for something better than what I can do on my own at home. I think I may have learned from this experience to just eat my own BBQ from now on!None of this is to say that Fat Eddy's is a bad place. It's definitely not. If you're around the outlets, it's a good choice for BBQ and a beer after a day of shopping, but I wouldn't go too far out of my way to visit again. My rating scale:1 - Just don't2 - You'll survive, but there are better choices close by3 - Good choice if you're in the area4 - I'd drive 30 minutes out of my way just to come here5 - I'd try to convince my wife to drive an hour just to come here

We've seen this BBQ spot on our visits to Grove City before and finally got a chance to try it. We were impressed from every single thing we had -- the smoked wings were amazing and their barbecue sauce is incredible -- smoky and tangy and sweet all at the same time. We also enjoyed our burnt ends, brisket, ribs, fries and macaroni and cheese. This is our new spot when we make a trip to Grove City for sure.

Average interior nothing special, 25Nov, 6:30pm - seated immediately not crowded at all. Told the waitress start with the southwest pot stickers n a Fat lager, served the beer and gave her my entree, burnt ends plate, 10 minutes later she brings both pretty damn hard to eat all before it gets cold, poor service. Pot stickers were good, nice and crispy, the burnt ends was a disaster 2 large lumps of fat disguised as meat. Manager did remove it from the bill, but it never should have left the kitchen hence the review.

I ordered the 3-meat smokehouse combo with 1/3 rack ribs, brisket, and shrimp. Instead of 4 decent-size ribs I got about 5 shorty ribs. The ribs were dry with a crusty coating suggesting they'd been on the grill or warmer too long, and they didn't taste very good. Brisket was decent. I enjoyed the BBQ shrimp skewers; they were the only above-average aspect of an otherwise very disappointing meal. The fountain soda was too sweet and also flat - very common at restaurants but still a let-down. The "signature" mac and cheese tasted exactly like Kraft Deluxe white cheddar & garlic & herbs, except with shell pasta. The fried Brussels sprouts were super dry and airy in an insubstantial way - not terrible but not very satisfying. The worst aspect was the BBQ sauce. Only one small cup of sauce provided and it was both too sweet and somewhat rancid tasting. A BBQ joint with only one sauce is already a problem - when that sauce isn't even worth adding to the meat, it's game over.Service was the bare minimum of attention - I was given the check without even an offer of dessert. I hadn't commented negatively to the waitress at all about the food, because I knew I was never coming back so no point in doing so.

On 6.16.24, my wife and I dined at the Fat Eddy's BBQ restaurant located at 1920 Leesburg Grove City Rd, Grove City, PA 16127-3354. We ordered the same meal. We enjoyed the 2 slices of smoked turkey breasts, steamed (but lukewarm) broccoli, coleslaw, baked beans (smoking hot), small (about 3.0" diameter) cornbread. Our beverages were club soda ($3.25 per glass) and Samuel Adams Non-Alcoholic (NA) beer ($6.00 per can). The check shows it as, "1 NA GOLDEN". I did not ask why it was not listed as "Samuel Adams NA Golden". CAUTION: Always look at the bottom of the can of Samuel Adams Non-Alcoholic Golden beer, before drinking, for the Best Buy date. The Best Buy date is on the bottom of the can, mind was dated "March 2024" and the beer did not taste fresh. I complained to my server, Nicolle W. and the manager on duty about the old date. The manager's curt and unsolicited commented that, "she will not throughout the beer" was very upsetting to us. I did not suggest she "through it out". I hope she will instruct the servers to warn customers about such old Best Buy dates when the Samuel Adams NA Golden" beer is ordered.

I stopped here on a visit and needed a quick meal to go. I went to the bar to order. The restaurant is spacious and I enjoyed the smell of smoked meat from the parking lot. I checked out the menu and decided upon the smokehouse platter with pulled chicken for $17. For the two sides I ordered the fried Brussels sprouts and baked beans. It also came with cornbread. It didn't take too long to get my order. When I got back to my hotel, I opened the styrofoam to-go container. There was enough food for 2 people. That might be why the price for this entree was a little on the high side--but there was a ton of food. There was no way I could eat all of that for one meal. I ended up eating half and leaving the rest in the hotel fridge. If you're a big eater and hungry, this will be excellent for you. Otherwise, be prepared for some leftovers. (I personally like it when I have extra food left). The fried Brussels sprouts weren't really battered or deep fried-they were really air fried-which is how I make I make them at home (or baked/roasted), so I didn't mind they weren't deep fried. The chicken was very tasty but it was a little on the dry side. The cornbread was light and not too sweet. I noticed inside the restaurant, they said they were established in 2020. If a restaurant can open and survive during a pandemic, I'd say that's pretty good. If you're looking for some decent BBQ, I'd stop and try out Fat Eddys. It was tasty and good BBQ.

Came here as a Solo traveler and had the best experience ever. I got the most perfectly baked potato topped with their homemade cheese sauce, barbecue sauce, pulled pork, chives, and broccoli. I paired it with their home brewed unsweetened iced tea. This entire thing was about 20 bucks and so delicious and filling. I absolutely loved it, and I wish I lived closer. Special shout out to my amazing server, Caroline, who was a wonderful conversationalist!

What a pleasant end to a Monday ! Walking in the atmosphere is fun, laid back, and made me want to eat bbq and drink a beer. Fat Eddy's have their own house lager !! So good BTW and only $3 on draft ! I Ordered the smokehouse combo, I chose one meat, but you can also choose two or three selections. I went with the pulled pork, it came with house barbecue, a corn bread, muffin , and two sides, I choose baked beans and baked potato. Portions were very generous! My meal was delicious and I enjoyed it very much. Our waitress had just started working there over the weekend. She was very sweet, kind, and hospitable. I will definitely come here again and I am sad I hadn't been here yet lol. Here's to more visits in the future !

Brought home a take out order yesterday ....the portions were very small as far as the meat goes. The diners in the restaurant sandwich portions looked much bigger. Onion ring portion size small as well . French fries very good ! Just a reminder: check your order before leaving restaurant .
