Family Deli

Made a pit stop here for lunch and it did not disappoint. Welcoming little deli with soups, salads, sandwiches, and bakery items. This is a grab and go kind of place, as there is no seating. It was my first time here and the employee was happy to show me the weekly specials OR make me a custom sandwich. I went for one of the weekly lunch sandwiches and it did not disappoint. When he brought it out my jaw dropped, which is necessary in order to eat one of these sandwiches. It's MASSIVE. Definitely a lunch AND dinner portion. It came with a side of macaroni salad which was also delicious. They also carry a wide variety of Boar's Head products, which I love. Grab a drink from their fridge to go with your lunch. Forgot to get your milk at the store? They have that too. All the staff were super friendly and I felt right at home. Can't wait to go back and grab some deli meats and cheese (and one of those huge cinnamon rolls)!

I came here randomly just to take a peek on a Saturday and it was busy and everyone was happy, customers and employees. I picked up some lunch meat and a few things from the prepared foods section which was beautiful ( check out the stuff in the case!) I wasn't expecting them to be able to make me a gluten free Italian hoagie but the guy behind the deli told me as long as they had a gluten free bread in stock yes they could make me anything! So I took him up on it and I said go for it however you'd like to make it I will be happy! So he made me some beautiful gf Italian bun sliders and was very happy to do so, and I can't wait to return! He also handed me a catering menu to let me know he got us for the next gathering my family and I have. Thumbs up!

I've already reviewed Family Deli, but I had to jump on here to post a photo of a cold special that they've had on their menu for the last few weeks. The turkey/thanksgiving/fall sandwich is messy, gigantic, and somehow comprises *all* the thanksgiving flavors between two slices of bread. You will not be able to take a tidy bite. Don't worry about it. Dig in. It'll work out. We got ours without spinach (because I'm not a fan of the texture of uncooked spinach).

Epic sandwiches! They are definitely big enough to share. Each one is painstakingly crafted to order with super fresh ingredients.

Fantastic sandwich, highly recommend, great service. One sandwich will feed two people or large mammal. Small place, this is grab and go or eat in your car or take it home.

Two Chicagoans passing through on a road trip and decided to stop in for lunch. HOLY COW, we're we delighted with our sandwiches! They are so huge we had them for lunch, then dinner, and lunch again tomorrow. Great flavor combinations, delicious bread, tremendous value for the price, and a solid courteous staff. Loved every bite. Tip: there's no patron seating, carry out only.

Never been disappointed. We use there catering services. Always on time and food is hot.

First time visiting and the menu was a bit overwhelming. No one bother to explain how things work. Finally placed order and waited 15-20 minutes to get my food. I ordered hot sandwich and main course salad. When I got home only to find out they only gave me the sandwich. It turns out I have to pickup salad from salad counters. I returned to pickup the salad they put away for me. I puzzled about the process of place order and picking up the food. No one apology for me to go all the way back to get my missing order. I enjoyed the food but not sure if I will come back.
