Large portions. Very tasty. Employees very knowledgeable of their menu. Chill environment

Although Fajita Pete's is a chain, it doesn't feel like one. The service was very friendly and personable. It was our first time visiting and the cashier was happy to explain the menu. We ordered the chicken pico and the combo fajitas with shrimp and chicken. Both orders came with rice, beans, and chips and salsa. The chips weren't overly salty which I was happy about! The food was very tasty. Both the chicken and shrimp were flavorful. The chicken was juicy and tender. We weren't able to finish our plates it was so filling! The staff were super friendly and checked on us several times. It's a casual chain restaurant similar to Chipotle or Qdoba, with the exception of a little bar serving beers and flavored margaritas. Highly recommend if you're shopping at The Block and want a bite to eat beforehand!

Fresh ingredients, large portions, inexpensive Tex Mex Cuisine. Yes, it's a chain, but the food is impressive. We had a great time here. When you buy the Fajitas, you get everything you need to assemble delicious Fajitas.I noticed they do a lot of take-out, catering, too.Our food came out quickly.There is lots of free parking.

The salsa was too tomatoey base. Not the chunks but it had a paste flavor to it. Not a fan. The chips were good. The Margarita was not bad, did get a brain freeze; I think their house is only frozen. Had a steak and chicken taco. Not bad! Did not care for the beans and liked the rice, not over flavored or dry! I will try it again. A small place, clean and simple inside. I would say that having two different radios playing at the same time is a bit much. Pick on and leave the other one off. The gal that took my order was super nice!I'll give it another chance. A bit $$

3.5 stars overall. Fajita Pete's is a chain restaurant that has franchise locations in some U.S. states. This particular location in the North Hills of Pittsburgh recently opened. This evening, my husband and I visited this restaurant to order takeout. The restaurant had several tables in a small space. As I stood in line at the cash register, I repeatedly had to move out of the way so that employees could walk past and bring food to the other customers at the tables. Our cashier was smiley and spoke nicely to us. The menu listed foods such as fajitas (e.g., chicken, carnitas/pork, beef, shrimp, veggie, and mixed), burritos, flautas, tacos, quesadillas, salads, tortilla chips with queso and quacamole, and churros. This restaurant also serves alcoholic beverages such as beers and margaritas.My husband and I ordered our food. The cashier could not get her credit-card machine to work, but she got a different machine to accept our payment. She told us that our wait would be about 15 minutes. I did not time our wait, but it was much longer. My husband and I ate our foods at home. Here are our reviews for the foods:Chicken fajitas - 3.5 stars - My husband ate this entree. He said that he was glad that he tried it and that it was filling, but he would not order it again soon. He said that because the business has "fajita" in its name, then it should make higher-quality fajitas. He liked the side of beans, and he described the rice as OK. Chicken quesadilla - 3.5 stars - My quesadilla was cut into four pieces. One of the pieces contained almost no chicken. A good amount of cheese was included in all of the pieces. The ingredients were fresh. I liked this quesadilla, but I expected it to taste better. My beans did not look appetizing, but they tasted good. The rice tasted OK, and I took a few bites of it. Queso - 4 stars - This queso dip was gooey and tasted very good. The accompanying bag of chips was sufficient.Guacamole - 3 stars - This guacamole had an average quality and flavor.

Very small restaurant seats less than 20 customers. I was surprised by the price point ($18 for shrimp fajitas). I had a 1 person serving - shrimp fajitas, 4 wraps, double rice, and delicious toppings that included really good guacamole. It made 3 large fajitas. I have never tasted a wrap like this one. Doughy, but light served warmed. Did I mention to go margaritas? I ordered chips and queso. Chose the medium queso came with a tiny bag of chips. There is a rewards program. Did I mention to go margarita sold from a glass to a gallon size!?I definitely think I will be back.

Ordered a La Familia bundle and I must say it was one of the best pack-ups ever! Everything was excellent! Perfect steak and chicken, and the BOMB queso!! The staff was friendly, asked if I needed utensils and assured me everything was included in the bag when it was brought out. This was a takeout order today, but I'd like to come back to dine in the restaurant. The dining room is simple and clean and the bar was a nice place to sit waiting for my order. Also looking forward to a couple to-go margaritas on the next visit. This was our first visit and will definitely be back!!

Stopped by to try a fajita. Was told by a friend that they opened last week but turns out today is opening day. Ordered a mixed fajita where you can pick 2 of the proteins, ordered the shrimp and carnitas. You get lot to eating everything came out piping hot. Probably enough for 2 people. Ordered the house made corn tortillas. The fajitas come with chips and salsa, pico, refried beans, some lettuce, cheese, and guac, and some rice. Built my fajitas and enjoyed the shrimp and carnitas. The chips were good and the salsa came out warm and had cilantro in it. A really filling meal. Nice to have in the neighborhood.

Tacos al carbon, and chicken fajitas for a high protein post workout meal! I dip the chips in the beans, salsa for the tacos. Sorry about the pic, but it usually doesn't make it home.

Love this place. The meat is soo tender and flavorful. Everything tastes soo fresh! Best bar made margaritas too. Food that my whole family enjoys..win win
