10-18 trash cans looked like this and we started golfing at 9:30am!

This course is SLIGHTLY better than the local putt putt place! No yardage markers, trash cans all over flowing, greens not cut, tee boxes have weeds all over them, our golf cart died on the 17th hole! There was a fight at the club house between some guys, which the police were called. The restaurant is not open on Saturdays, so you might consider packing a picnic basket if you want to eat!Personally, I do not know how this place stays in business! According to the manager they own another course down the road and this course is the better of the two! Go to Oglebay and pay the difference, you will be happy with your decision!

I don't know what these other reviewers are speaking about. Very chill and peaceful. Right near water. Some difficult holes some easy ones especially for a gradual learner like me. Nothing too outrageous. And easy to just get up and play. Not crowded on a Sunday at noon. If you consider yourself a professional golfer, go somewhere else. Everyone one else who is not in the PGA..feel free to join. Trash cans are overflowing with beer cans because everyone comes here....Great price.

Great value for the money. Fairly short course(5,450), white tees and flat. Could add a lot of value to the course by simply adding distance markers in the fairways. Overall very well kept with a bar and restaurant at the 19th hole.

If you're lookin for Augusta this isn't it, but if you're looking for a pretty much stress free round this is your course. Easy to get on, low price, maintained well enough. It's my "go to" course to get my confidence back. Nothing like a round in the low 70's to make you feel better about your game.
