A beautiful off the beaten path drive to find some dry reds. Lovely time chatting with co-owner.

lucky enough to live close... free tastings and grow most of their own grapes... environmentally friendly (solar and windmill power) ... they bring a "taste of the old country" in not only their wines but also their hospitality and ethics.... great winery, great people! I love the Fredonia

Small winery, owners are very friendly and obviously take great care and pride in their work. They had about nine varieties when we stopped in. Their slogan about a taste of Europe in Pennsylvania is no joke, the wines were extremely refined for such a small operation and they put a big emphasis on non-blended estate wines that are made from their own grapes. If you're not a big fan of sweet-as-jam concords, Evergreen will be a welcome change. Try the Baco Noir.

This is a really lovely winery. The owner is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The tasting was free, and we bought a few bottles. The wines are reasonably priced. I think we tried about 8 or so wines. The pours were small, but we got to taste everything. It was pretty cool to learn that they're a solar powered winery and have been for over 25 years.
