Espresso A Mano - Dormont

I'm obsessed with the espresso a mano in lawrenceville and was so excited to see one a little closer to home, in the beautiful Dormont neighborhood. We visited here on my birthday and I had an almond milk latte- it was delicious. I also tried a scone they were selling from the "scone ranger", which was super delicious. It was very cute in here and the service was kind and quick! I'll be back!

Obviously among the very best in Pittsburgh for some time now, EAM has opened a new coffeehouse in Dormont, and I can't be the only one who's elated. On two occasions now it has been by far the best espresso l've ever been served in this little borough since I moved here in the mid-'90s and yet ANOTHER welcome addition to reinvigorated Potomac Avenue (Moonlit Burgers, Badamo's Pizza, Row House Cinema - Hollywood, et al.). Redhawk Coffee still makes my favorite espresso drinks in Pittsburgh, but now I don't have to drive much more than 2 minutes (or walk much more than 10) if I'm not going into the city or trying to approximate them at home. Huge improvement over anything that came before. Huge.
