Quality Mexican, subversive environment. Service is faster the most restaurants. The food had excellent taste. The staff were friendly and polite. There is a small language barrier hindered a little by the music volume but with a little focus, easily overcome.

Emiliano's Mexican restaurant is family-owned and currently has five locations in the Pittsburgh area. Please see my attached photos for the menu in February 2024.For years, my husband and I have eaten meals here. In previous visits, we enjoyed the queso cheese dip, birria quesadilla, fajitas mixtas, fried ice cream, etcetera. For our most recent visit, we came here for different foods. A seating hostess immediately greeted us and walked us to a clean table. Soon, our friendly waiter arrived, gave us menus, and took our order. At the end of the meal, the waiter promptly brought out our bill. Here are my reviews for the foods:Holy guacamole - 4.5 stars - An employee made this fresh guacamole at the table-side. We requested no tomatoes, and he correctly omitted them. Other ingredients were avocados, jalapeños, cilantro, red onions, lime juice, and spices. I thought that this guacamole and the accompanying tortilla chips were flavorful.Fajita quesadilla - 4.5 stars - A flour tortilla was stuffed with shredded cheese, onions, bell peppers, and my choice of meat of chicken. The cook included the right proportion of ingredients, and I liked the taste. On the side was rice that was cooked perfectly.Fajita quesa con pollo - 4.5 stars - My husband ate this entree. He filled his tortilla with sizzling chicken, onions, and bell peppers. On the side were refried beans, rice, and salad. He said that he enjoyed this food. The total bill for this food plus one iced tea was $50 *plus* tax and tip.

Emiliano's is what I like to call the "Applebees of Mexican food." Not bad, not great. Seems like a lot of their menu items just come frozen in a box. Has that major chain restaurant vibe.Went with the chicken and chorizo street tacos. Although they tasted fine, they would easily be outshined by other local Mexican restaurants. Our waiter was great. Service was speedy. Not a bad experience, just can find much better elsewhere for cheaper.

I came here for lunch with a group of coworkers on a random weekday around noon. At that time, the restaurant was mostly empty, so we were greeted and seated right away in a booth by the window. The menu appeared to be mostly standard Mexican-American fare, which is fine by me! I ordered my go-to for Mexican restaurants, the fried chimichanga with chicken from the lunch menu. The portion was typical for a lunch item, but small for my usual appetite. It came with 1 small burrito doused in a cheese sauce and scoop of Mexican rice with a small Mexican salad on the side. The food was hot, fresh, and tasty but did not blow my mind or stand out as exceptional compared to other chimichanga's that I have had. Servers were friendly and attentive, keeping our drinks full and making sure that we were all satisfied with our meals. The atmosphere was well decorated with modern Mexican decor. The bar looked to be well stocked and probably a fun place to hang out and have a drink in the evening. Overall, this is a solid choice for casual Mexican food in the North Hills area of Pittsburgh. There is another restaurant called Emiliano's in the South Side, but I am not 100% sure if it is the same ownership as this place.

This is a great decorated and fun restaurant in McCandless. The decor makes you feel outside with lovely water features and fun hanging baskets. The waiter was great and the complimentary chips and salsa were a great start. The guacamole was good not great, but it was fun to share at the table. I got shrimp fajitas...which were great! My husband got shrimp tacos with a wonderful sauce.

My cousin Roberto and I had a craving for spicy food while out shopping in the area. It was amazing! He got a Fujita with steak, mushrooms, and chicken, which was mind-blowing. I got the chicken flautas, which was amazing. Their chicken is delicious! It's so tender and flavorful because of the marinade. The tortilla chips were hot and fresh. The salsa was cold and fresh. The place was jam-packed with huge parties, but we were seated and served fast. They really get people in and out. Amazing!

This is my favorite of the Emilianos locations so far! The restaurant itself is so beautiful. Gorgeous art and I love the fountain. Service was excellent as always. Their sampler platter was amazing - I'm addicted to their empanadas. I ordered the Choripollo for dinner. It was a tad salty but the chicken was cooked perfectly. And like all their locations, their drinks were a hit!

Ordered chicken and steak fajitas. On top of it being 90% veggies, everything was burnt tasted burnt that way. Felt bad and didn't tell them so I just ate the queso and chips which were good. Overall will not be coming back.
