My husband and I stopped here for lunch, and one of the specials was burgers & fries or chips. Since I love burgers that's what I ordered.That burger was so delicious! Usually I don't finish a burger, but I ate every bite of it. The fries were just as good.The service was amazing, and the waitress was very pleasant.It was such a great lunch!I highly recommend this place.

I visited here one evening for Karaoke night and just had drinks, no food. There was a bit of a crowd, and it seemed that many of the regular locals here knew one another. Karaoke must be a consistent weekly event. I don't have a need to go back again, but I won't mind if I do.

We tried the other location first by random chance and they did not compare. This location was not as guest friendly for dining as the other. There is a pool table in the dining room and the music was so loud you could not hear to talk. Since we were back in dining area it seemed as if we were forgotten until more diners came in. As far as the food it was good, fish sandwich and fried chicken sandwich with wing sauce. I think I'd only get takeout here again.

What an excellent find. My friend and I checked Elly's out and were very surprised. This place has had many names and was on my list to try.First, the place does not look like much from the outside. When you walk in you, the decor has a warm feel. Lots of woods and dark colors. They have a large bar with the most comfortable bar chairs. I think I have sat in. The chairs are made from wine barrels, according to one patron. The staff was very friendly and helped us navigate the menu. We ordered the Prime Rib Sandwich and the Elly's Special. All were good. We did get an appetizer of the pierogies. The service was excellent, the Food was delicious, and the place was cool. The only negative is regarding the parking. This place was popular and had limited spots. Just be prepared to park on one of the streets.

Our experience was great! Staff was welcoming and helpful. Atmosphere was comfortable bar with table seating in the front was had a great, warm, local feel but darker. Table seating in the back was bright open and spacious. Several dartboards were in the bar as well as a pool table and huge screen in the back room. Food was good! It was meatball Monday so my daughter and I split a meatball hoagie. Good thing we did as it was huge! They split it for us and gave us each plenty of tasty fries! We also could not pass up the sautéed pierogi, which were so goood! Could not beat the price of $20 for all plus soda!!

Note: there is limited parking in the parking lot which slopes down drastically. You may or may not find parking on the street as the restaurant sits on a hill and it's a residential area in the back. If you're looking for a place to have a couple of drinks and some food, this might be your place. BUT if you're looking for a spot for just food, I would not recommend it. I ordered pick up when I called them to place my order. They told me that it would take about 20 mins. I got there 25 mins after placing the order and it was not ready. Then when I was paying, I realized that they had charged me for an icy lite which I did not have. After waiting another 20 mins, I got my food which was not a big deal since they're short staffed everywhere. I was excited to try the food as the pictures looked amazing on the website. I got wings, pierogies and a caesar wrap with fries. To my disappointment, this was bar food quality. The wings were dry and had no flavor at all, the only positive was that they do give you plenty of carrots and celery to accompany the wings. The caesar wrap was meh and the fries were small. The pierogies were pretty good (sautéed) though. It was definitely not what I thought it would be.

If you're going to the outlets or to the casino, you gotta eat at Elly's at the Meadowlands! Have been here twice and got the chicken and steak salads both times- 10/10. The salads are big and they use fresh spring mix instead of that crappy iceberg mix, plus they make their own ranch and it's delicious. My son got the chicken parm sandwich and loved it. Service was excellent. This restaurant was previously Beechies, and my uncle ran it for over 30 years. I have so many memories of this place and will keep coming back when I'm in the area.

First time there really enjoyed the hamburger and the pretzel appetizer they made an excellent espresso martini. Can't wait to go back.

Our order was ice cold, 50 minutes late and while my husband was waiting for our wings, other people came in and ate wings before he got ours. We gave this place another chance, and will never be back. They worry more about the bar than take out orders of 50.00! Poor service and customer care. Would give zero stars if i could.

Too long didn't read: Don't go here alone as a woman they will all leave you if something happens. I just attempted to eat at Ellys & when some drunk old man cornered me and I had to literally scream at him to get away from me (because telling him calmly 6 times did nothing) Instead of helping me EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE RAN TO THE KITCHEN and left me to fend for myself. After asking for my food to go the bartender told ME TO LEAVE. So I will never know how their food is because I will not return somewhere I am not safe.
