Elegant Tents & Catering

They sell appetizers at Bella Terra Vineyards and it's pretty good. However, have tried multiple times to inquire about catering, including at Bella Terra, to no avail. Multiple attempts calling and emailing with no response. The 3 is based only on appetizers at the winery. Would not recommend for catering as they don't seem eager for business.

The food truck came back and I came back too. Enjoyed the brisket again too. Brisket sandwich was tasty with some hot peppers and a nice sauce to had some sweetness along with some cheese. The bread was grilled. Very tasty sandwich.

We had our wedding reception at Riverside Landing. The Riverside Landing venue is nice but the only catering option is horrid.Elegant Catering made promises & didn't live up to our expectations. They pulled the classic bait and switch on us...Our schedule & expectations were made via email & verbally MULTIPLE TIMES. Joy, our Event Coordinator, would constantly loose emails. We had to literally email her the same answers, to her questions, multiple times a week. That's if she would even respond to us. She told us this is because she didn't have all the information that the previous Coordinator had for our wedding, but this persisted for almost the entirety of planning our reception, up until the event itself.This really stressed out my wife and I while planning our wedding. We constantly had to repeat the same information with her, that was in our file, over and over again. It became such a huge concern for us, especially when she didn't respond to our emails or phone calls for almost a month. We were very distraught, and ended up calling the owner of Elegant Catering, Jeff Yelinek, for answers. We were assured by Jeff that he would talk to Joy, find out what was going on, and personally oversee our reception. He promised to make sure it went smoothly and stress free for us. He was great for a few weeks, then Joy started calling us back, and responding to emails sent to Jeff. This created even more communication issues with her than before. Jeff disappeared, and didn't back up anything that he promised. I called him after we got back from our honeymoon. He now won't answer my phone calls, to try and make it right. We had the following issues: A leather couch & hutch were in the hall when they were to be removed. This created space issues for our photo booth. We were assured the day before our reception that they would be promptly removed.The layout for all of our cookie, card, cake, gift tables, etc, was incorrect. We had planned this with Joy the day before. She wrote it all down, and said we had nothing to worry about.The double doors to the over river deck were sealed, forcing entry from behind the bar. This is a main feature of the hall & now access is compromised. This was due to the hall not being set up the way we had planned, the day before.The food at our tasting was not the same as what was served-fresh carrots versus canned mushy carrots.The bride's drink was not at the bar upon arrival, though it was guaranteed to be there verbally and via email. Joy had to go out in the middle of the reception to purchase it.The chef had to ask my bride if they should serve us and the guests. This pushed dinner back over an hour, because coordinator Joy hadn't instructed the staff. This put a TREMENDOUS amount of stress on us, having to make several key decisions about the reception, while we were supposed to be enjoying ourselves. Why wasn't Joy around to instruct the staff?The staff also didn't have the timeline that we sent to Elegant Catering. We also went over it verbally with Joy, the day before.Our cake was never served to our guests, REALLY? Our cake was placed on styrofoam plates w/plastic forks in the bar area (not so elegant). It was confirmed and assured to us, both verbally and via email, that the cake would be served on china w/silverware to the guests. After our reception, we picked up items Monday morning, including our extra cake. Joy called us 8+ hours later, while we were boarding our honeymoon flight, to tell us over half our cake was still at the venue & we need to come back for it. She was personally there when we picked everything up. She was the one that gave it to us.We lost over half of our very expensive cake, because she didn't serve it to our guests, and then FORGOT to give it to us when we came to pick it up. To say we are unhappy is an understatement.Jeff and Joy just did whatever they wanted without any regard to our agreements.They did not fulfill the promises and assurances that were made during our planning consultations.Working w/Elegant Catering is anything but elegant. It is a very stressful and disappointing process.If it wasn't for our wonderful DJ and bridal party, our reception would have been a total disaster. They did what Elegant Catering could not do.

I have been to 3 different events where this business catered food. This has been the most absolutely tasteless & horrible food I have ever eaten. At 1 point, i completely decided not to eat something that tasted like nothing at all. I called my friends to bring chips because I was so hungry, but refused to eat this food. Horr

We were married at Greendance Winery in Mt. Pleasant just this past spring. Unfortunately, if you choose Greendance for your venue, you must also choose Elegant Catering for your catering services. They were a nightmare from the start. Here's a list of just some of our complaints:-Our first estimate that they sent to us was over $3k higher than the verbal. -They tried to charge us additional fees in the amount of $500 and blamed it on the winery. -They screwed up our menu 3 times.-At our tasting we were propositioned to join a pyramid scheme.-At the wedding, the coordinator did not even show.-We had no head table, our cake was not displayed, our guestbook was not displayed, and the dance floor was not cleared as discussed.-Catering staff was not available where agreed to be.-Staff was witnessed carrying take out containers at the end of the night, yet we received little to no food.-The bartender set out a tip jar even though we already paid gratuity and it was an open bar.-Some of our guests were embarrassed because catering staff sat on the back of a truck and laughed at them while they danced.-Items that we provided, such as linens and lanterns, were damaged and thrown in the trash.

Worst food truck around!! not only had to stand in rain for hour and half to get food fries were COLD!!!! NEVER EVER would recommend using or eating at this place.

Very unfortunately, my niece's baby shower planners mistakenly trusted and relied on this highly unprofessional catering company. Please save yourself heartache and frustration. Some disappointments included: cold food, poor quality food, lack of help, late and inelegant set up, not enough serving utensils, no information about delays or trouble, flimsy plates and inadequate numbers, unresponsive to calls and e-mails, no trouble shooting assistance or concern, and more. This all made me worry about food temperature control for items like meat and cheese, and food safety. Very nerve wracking. (Luckily, friends and family are good sports. And we heard of no incidents. However, no one should be put through this irritation and receive such horrible service and products on such a joyful day.) I posted on Google maps as well.

There are not enough words to really describe what a wonderful experience we had with our catering for my daughter's baby shower. They were so easy to work with and the price was great, they were on time and OMG the food was fabulous! Everyone was complementing how great the food was.Truly outstanding! They completed our perfect day. I would give them 10 stars if I could.Totally recommend them for any occasion.

I am beyond disappointed in the service we received. I threw my sister her wedding shower at Bella Terra and it was the most elegant and beautiful shower you could ever imagine. However the food that was provided was blah and bland. the WORST part was there was not enough of it! We ran out of bacon and potatoes. We also ran out of the salad. The fruit came with a ranch dipping sauce which makes no sense. When I called to let them know my experience they tried to blame me saying that I did not let them know how much food to order. Which is total BS! I told then venue that was to communicate that with them. I am so upset. I will not be using them ever again!

These guys were able to provide us with a very last minute funeral luncheon for my Dad. The sandwiches were stellar as were the homemade chips. Highly recommend them!
